I've got one coming too, along with a black canvas CF. It's been a bit since I paid, so I'm hoping soon....

I did get to handle my buddy's blacked out CG and can say that this is a pretty sick package :thumbsup:

Dave, your pics got me jonesin for my pair ... that's some rootin tootin leather work you've crafted for yourself on those sheaths also.

That leather looks nice & supple.

Did Marshall Dillon put up much of a fight when you took his chaps away from him? ;)

Tan micarta and sage is correct - tan and muddy is another favorite of mine. Just look MO to me...

Green micarta and sage, green and muddy, too!

I like what I consider to be the "MO/field looking combos" just because I favor those.

I will say that tan canvas and midnight blue is out of this world cool looking, speaking from experience.
 
I haven't seen any color combination that doesn't look fantastic on this blade!

I keep catching myself thinking I should have got one like that.. Every time a picture of a new combo gets posted.
I probably would have ended up with all of them if I had that kind of money:rolleyes:

I'm also seriously kicking myself for not getting the nuclear option. I really really should have. And considering how much I love this blade already when I haven't even held it yet, I definitely should have gotten more than one:oops: I'll have to get one off the exchange probably

I know you'll be careful throwing your V8, but watch the rebound on that bad boy-- I've seen some tommyhawks bounce back at the thrower almost as fast as they were sent--

If that happens with this model, you might wind up singing soprano in the Vienna Boys Choir :eek::eek::eek::eek:
 
Well thanks to this dagger I am going to re learn how to do leatherworking and make my own sheath for it. I have just finished building a wooden model of the HMS Victory after working on it for about 2 years in my spare time. A new hobby seems more logical and less expensive than starting up another ship model. I also want to make a holster for my CZ-85. I hope you guys get yours soon.
