Simple CG Black on Black Canvas. NM had too much flourish/curlicue in the end. Or shall I say embellished? Is that the right word?

I had a nm in my cart .... it is the most physically appealing blade I have ever seen busse come out with. But it is just a little to big to be a practical user for me. I was torn all week about it
If it was 8-10" I would have bought without hesitation :)
Happy to see the nm lasted a little longer than the last one to give people a chance :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Me too.
Why did you Jax? I passed because by the time I make the knife what I want, I would have over a grand in it. that is gladius money. you would think for over $800 they could put a true satin finish on the blade. I thought the options were overpriced. Free market, get what you can for it, or buy what you want. congrats too those that scored. It is a super cool blade.

I feel the options were definitely overpriced as well. I really wanted a Nuke version but just couldn't justify the extra charges. However, congrats to those who were able to score one.

Passed....as cool as these are The Original FBM to me is a hard hitting user didn't see this one taking Her Place;)

Passed on this one too. This knife has a pointy tip like a fighting knife but a mass of some serious chopper 12+" x 2" x 0.25" with mid saber grind blade ... these two characteristic doesn't goes well IMO.

There are models <even from Busse Combat Co.> that don't always melt your butter....I get it.

But frankly I'm gobsmacked that any Top Hog can emphatically "Pass" on this amazing offering out of Wauseon. This model has some serious bloodlines. The sheer scale alone is epic. Get real-- this is the War and Peace of knives!

I'm gonna have to move some steel <some INFI, at that> to make room for my FM's. But I was determined I'm not gonna be the "NO REGRETS" guy who may be sitting on the sidelines regretting not dropping the hammer on this offering when they start shipping and showing up in threads in a couple weeks.;)

If you could restrain yourself from buying this one and you truly convinced yourself you don't need a Nuked Forsaken Mistress...well...you're a better man than me, Charlie Brown. :)

Think of it not that The Options were Overpriced, but that Comp finish CG was a steal lol

I loved the look of this blade and while it is tip is pointy, I bet that it is still stout enough to handle any task. The nuclear option was too rich for my blood.

There's just too many other things I could put money into instead of a knife so beautiful I'd never use. My bank account can't afford safe Queens.

I hope to purchase a nice knife sharpening system within the next few months.
