One of the Busse's that I sold years ago and still regret (yep regrets I have a few but then again to few to mention ...........) is the old Military Overrun Bowie tipped FBM, man I loved that blade. If you ever see one come up for sale they are well above what these are going for.

For me it was an easy choice to get this one, its like a MO FBM that you can get any way you like and its over 12" long

I can not wait.

I grabbed a comp finish with machined black canvas, but I’m still thinking about the maroon canvas and might swap it out. I shall be using...nay, abusing this beauty.
 
The only thing I hate about this offering is it will be months before we receive them.
 
Super cool knife, just can’t justify spending that much on one knife if I plan to use and not resell it. Wish I could!
 
Passed. I think the price per inch of INFI was good but the lines of this one are a bit to "fantasy blade" looking for my taste.

Hell, I would pick up a second job to pay for this model if need be. Sell plasma. Have a garage sale. Deliver pizzas. Brown bag lunches. Avoid the coffee house. Give up Jack for Thunderbird....ok maybe not that :confused:

But so many ways to "afford" this blade, even if you can't afford it.

I wouldn't do that for just any old blade.

Cause this one is the stuff of legend. :cool:

2 nukes, machined blue and black and smoothed blue and black g10
went back and got a comp finish with blue and black machined g10

..nukes were surprisingly still up after i ordered comp.. so i caved and got another in smooth red and black g10 to match the sk and v8

Seeing as the MOAB is about an inch to 2 inches longer and almost a grand more, i had to go all in.. maybe to far in. i need a drink..:confused:

I get it, it is extreme.

But if I didn't like an outlandish blade every once and a while I'd just stick to Randall Made knives.

Got one of those, too and it'd go up for sale to buy this one if my eldest didn't already call dibs on it.

Yeah. The FMV8 is one that was pretty wild looking and not something that would useually fit in the realm of what I like, but for some reason it spoke to me.

Good point...it IS a lot of money for a knife...but when you run comparative <apples : apples> analysis it becomes crystal clear what a smokin deal this blade is-- even nuked out!!!

Like clampdaddy clampdaddy already posited...if you look at $$$ per inch of INFI, it's a great deal. Now bundle in the options and it just gets better...

Because it's like synergy-- 1 + 1 doesn't equal 2 anymore, it equals something like 7!!!
 
I passed. I probably would have bought one without the CBT, with just a full flat grind.
 
I've always wanted a MOAB, and for now this is as close as I can get.
Ordered one Comp w/Maroon Micarta.

As an analogy...

It was unthinkable-- UNTHINKABLE, I SAY...for me to even consider a $25,000 Busse Shop credit...

Now, with OVER that amount in INFI under my roof I see how foolish I was in dismissing that idea so quickly out of hand.

So, I feel safe in saying, as we age like Tennessee country hams and just get saltier with each passing year...we'll look back and say, "Can you believe those tricked out Nuked Forsaken Mistresses only sold for under a GRAND back in 2018?!!??"

Take look @ Bad Mojo's Busse site and take a stroll down memory lane and see what some other Busse icons listed for back in the day...it'll make your hooves curl!!!

Have many blades have been offered with LB treatment? Are there more than just this and the TGLB?
