I ordered/paid for a Ranger Hawk from Dana at Fort Turner forge on 12/13/12, to date I still haven't received it. I have received a total of 6 email replies from him in that time period, the last one on 09/10/13. As of 5 minutes ago his site still gives a delivery time of 8 weeks. I want a refund... I don't recommend that you purchase anything from Fort Turner Forge. Mike

Wow. Misread the year on that date the first time. I can understand waiting a year for a custom/semi-custom piece, but not when they tell you two months and only communicate sporadically over that time. Hopefully this gets resolved to your satisfaction.
 
Gonna 2nd this I don't have a hawk on order with Dana but I did a couple of years ago . Waited almost a year for the hawk when I did receive it had to send it back because the edge was over hardened . It did come back fixed but I would never order anything from there again not worth the worry and the wait. Echo hope this gets resolved for you and everyone else waiting to get what they paid for.
 
Yup! I've been waiting a long time myself. He will not return my emails at all! Really ticks me off to pay up front (full price) then be jerked around. I simply cannot stand a man who's word is no good.
 
Wish he would at least reply to one of my emails. I'm extremely pissed off at the way he conducts business! Dana needs to tell his customers the truth!! That it's gonna be more than "8weeks"

Seems like a lot of people have had the same experience. I don't understand how people like this stay in business aside from taking people's money without giving them what they paid for.
 
I would be absolutley livid if I was going through what you are. Hell at three months I would be getting very frustrated. It's not like what they're doing is some kind of elaborate machining. If I recall H&B forge make something similar to them so you might want to take your business elsewhere when you finally get your money back. That is if you're still interested in a spiked tomahawk.
 
I wish I would have seen this in January. I ordered a couple of hawks from him and sent 3 emails asking for an approximate ETA. No response. These were just the regular throwing hawks but I'm still our $190 CAD. I just want a response for ####sakes!

This is why we need this FEEDBACK forum.

We need people posting whenever a supplier jerks them around.

We need members searching for reputations before ordering.

We need less paying up front. :(
