Hey guys finally got a email from Dana at fort turner this morning my iroquois is gonna be shipped this week . Been waiting since december 30th he must be busy which is good does anybody have any pics of theres they could share think its gonna be a little while yet. Thanks Rich

I'm looking forward to some more pics as well. I just got an email from Dana this morning saying that my Camp Hawk will be shipping soon. Can't wait:D

Sweet hawk wolf think i saw that top pic before but not the bottom one . It has the extended edge right ? Having Dana do the same for mine your pics and thread gave me the insparation . If you dont mind me asking what kind of knife is that in the fist pic right under the hawk with straight spine ? Thanks Rich

Yeah that's the custom large Iroquois Mr Turner made for me; a tomahawk bordering on being a War Axe type. It cuts like a guillotine.

Having Dana do the same for mine your pics and thread gave me the insparation . If you dont mind me asking what kind of knife is that in the fist pic right under the hawk with straight spine ? Thanks Rich

That's a replica English Trade Knife made by Jeff White. Very well made 1095 blade with cherry wood handle scales. The edge bevels are beautifully convexed and it is scary sharp. The blade is thin but it's surprisingly tough, IMO because of the very well done heat treat. Good skinning knife. EXCELLENT knife for cleaning fish.


I'm thinking of having Dana Turner make me a Buck Hawk with a spike. A few years ago I bought and modded a couple CS Norse Hawks and fell in love with that trumpet shaped blade. I soon thereafter bought a FT Buck modded it up and it's become my favorite tomahawk.
 
Well, I went ahead and did it. Ordered a Poled Iroquois Tomahawk, got the confirmation on my account of the money withdrawn. Now just the long wait to hear when it's coming in. Anyone got any idea how long I might wait? I'm super stoked to get my hawk.

On a related note, snagged a Jeff White custom trade knife on Ebay today. It will be the Fort Turner's mate when it comes in.

Finally upgrading!!

You will be happy nice choice. The wait time depends on how many orders Dana has pending i waited a long time but heard some people getting there's pretty quick now. Next your gonna need a edge cover or a sheath!

No worries, I fully intend to buy one of their sheaths for it next. That and a sheath for the JW knife are the next purchases. Only issue will be seeing if R. Jones makes sheaths for Jeff's custom ones.

I THINK the Nessmuk sheath might fit it.
 
I ordered my Ranger hawk in september and I'm still waiting. Me thinks Dana is a victim of his own success. Thats what you get when offering a great product at an incredible price.

Exactly if he has a lot of orders from the troops they get first priority . The way it should be. I waited 6 months take the time to get your sharpening gear together. And the stuff your gonna need if your gonna make a sheath or edge cover. It will be worth the wait.
 
I waited about 4 months for mine, but it was well worth it. I made the cover for it.
