Sorry to here that you will be lucky if you get it in 8 months .
 
To day my Fort Turner Buck Hawk showed up via USPS, just as promised by Dana after our phone conversation. The quality of his metal work is very good,after throwing in to my target round for 1/2 hr it still shaved the hair off my arm and the handle stayed put, the tapered handle takes some getting use to but I'm retired and have time to adjust. The weight for my order was well worth it.
 
I got a call from Dana a couple days ago.
He basically was calling to ensure that my address was right, saying he finally had my tomahawk done...
...the tomahawk I had cancelled the order on last summer after waiting 6 months...

Bright side is, apparently he's gotten better, so that's good for him. But he seemed shocked that I had cancelled the order and opened a transaction dispute.
Sorry, but when you have my tomahawk done a year and three months after I order, when your promise no more than 8 weeks, and never respond to emails asking for updates or asking to cancel an order, can you really be surprised when that happens?

All respect to Dana Turner, the man's clearly trying, and I hope those who order from him in the future are satisfied, but that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
 
Yeah he should have updated his website and been up front about it all.


Now waiting 57 weeks and 4 days here.
