Yep, that's the Seneca! The Shawnee is the one without the cut out and the brass tacks.

They gave me a two week estimate, maybe even sooner. 2 weeks... versus 7 months. Yeah, H&B is looking good right now!

Not good so you have to threaten him to get what you paid for I was hoping everyone would get their hawks and he would get it together but gotta say don't ever order anything from there again I know I won't . Did your hawk at least come with a decent edge mine didn't?
 
Didn't want to threaten anyone but he left me no other options. I ordered his hawk based on the feedback I read here. But I gotta say I like my Mark Mccoun hawk better. Yes It came with a decent edge
 
On your side my friend just think it's a shame he can't take care of his customers the right way.
 
It's sad that a vendor that was highly regarded in the past has now sullied his reputation beyond the point of fixing. After what customers have been subjected to, even a partial credit and apology should have been included. Many of us make purchases strictly on feedback from other forum members, and I can't see how anyone reading this thread would give FT a single cent in the future, especially when there are others like H&B who continue to provide a quality product at a fair price with excellent service. What a shame since a bit of common sense, explanation, and fair dealing could have averted this situation. I hope Legion, Wolf, Lowrider, and the rest get satisfaction asap.

Eeyup. I waited over half a year, and never got anything from him. I finally opened a dispute and got my money credited back to me. Used it to order from H&B. GUESS WHAT ALREADY SHIPPED? Only waited 3 weeks.

I'm just sad that it happened on my first order EVER. Kind of made me paranoid to trust anyone now :/
But good things from H&B. I'd direct anyone their way in a heartbeat.

I've washed my hands of Fort Turner.
 
I've within the last few months acquired two custom pieces from H&B. With the last one, they actually told me they were swamped with orders at the time and I'd have a wait. I waited about a month and got it.

I placed the order on March 31, 2013. So now it's 20 weeks!!!

On the other hand, my check was cleared on Aug. 23 with H&B and got the hawk on Friday.

l hawks hand made ect. ect. He said he pulled my work order and said he would work on it asap, but I didn't change the deadline
I emailed and he called me the next day and gave me the same excuse's he gave dreamcatcher, medical problems, al
 
I order 2 hawks from him last March...no response...no communication.....Nothing.
5 months later I filed a dispute with Visa and they reversed the charges...took about 2 weeks.
When someone uses the excuse "Medical Problems"..that seems to be an excuse no one ever questions..so maybe that could be an excuse and not true...Just a thought
But this is true...I will never...ever...and I mean ever...do business with Fort Turner again...To pay upfront and then get treated like dirt with no communication what so ever...after waiting more then twice as long as his website promises and then it's up to YOU.....yes YOU....to get your money back.
 
One the longest threads I've ever started never would of guessed it would of turned out this way. Even though I have moved on to other makers he makes a quality product for the price but the customer service makes it not worth the bother. Can't help but wonder how he claims LEO and active military get first priority how many guys are waiting half or more of there tours for there hawks.
