Forum Knife Updates and comments

Okay, I've got some more updates from Buck. The current completion estimate is 3 weeks out. Parts are currently running through the shop for the knife. To ease the sting of this timeline adjustment, I have some more photos for you!
The stamp is not current and the coloration in the pull will be removed.

That Elk is AWESOME! Can't wait.

Thanks for all of the effort SK!

I agree, I hope they all have as much character and grippy look to them as that one has!

My comment/question on thickness stems from bad experiences with other traditional knife makers that seem to go far too thick, hopefully this one will not be the Case ;)

This knife is going to be such a great pocket companion.

Thanks to all who voted for this combination, and thanks to those who are making it a reality.

This Buck looks to be a solid combination of usefulness while looking good.

I’m already eagerly anticipating how nice that steel is going to behave during and after sharpening...

If mine ends up looking like that, I will be one happy camper!

Looks so great! Thank you for all your work on this, skblades skblades . And thanks to Buck!

Those asking about thickness, fair enough but bear in mind that antler is a highly variable material. They're likely to be a lot of differences (same with woods) just remember the Forum 14 Stag knife/Forum 15 Bocote knife. However, there's scope for people exchanging knives as preferences are just as variable

Looks handsome to me so far

I am really looking forward to getting this knife. I hope members don't complain about what they receive. Maybe the complainers should automatically be the volunteers to get next year's forum knife made. Since skblades did this without the chance of making a profit, and everyone involved has done the best job they possibly could, I hope everyone will have a positive attitude when they receive this gem.:)

Sorry, I don't mean to preach!
