No, I have a friend that is though and some teeth were from his dives. I have been hunting teeth for over 40 years mostly back in the intercoastal waterway in SC.
 
I have a great white tooth (3.125") that is supposedly 1/8" off the world record but who really knows. It is in the picture 3rd from the left of the 6" Meg.
 
What is the edge retention like on those babys? I want one with a handle on it! The only question is leather or kydex.
 
Pretty good. The serrations on most teeth have been sharp for a long time. Mako shark teeth have no serrations and are like daggers with the edges wicked sharp.
