There is a Forumite who is about ready to go through a foreclosure on his home. He is married with two children. He has been laid off and lives in an area where there is not alot of work to be had. His Wife has basically suffered the same fate, employment-wise.

As a reference, you can contact porterbob@aol.com for confirmation I'm not making this up. This is a little project we have going and about 4 other people at the moment can be listed as references as well.

If you have any negative comments, please, keep them to yourself.

We will give you a name, etc., if you wish to help out and then you can send the funds directly to the individual.
 
This is a very real situation and we are trying to raise some money so a fellow US doesn't lose his house. If you can afford anything it will greatly be appreciated.
 
I'm here to chime in also. I've corresponded with the individual in need and I'm giving a little. He didn't ask for the money and didn't even hint that he wanted our money. We volunteered it.

If you can help out I'm sure he and his family would appreciate it greatly.

I can verify that this is a real situation and am also contributing. Please help as much as you can...I was downsized myself last year and know how tight things can get. Email me and I will forward a name and address.
 
I've submitted a proposal to the email address above. Those interested, get together and let me know if you are interested. I don't like seeing anyone going through problems like this.

i have no money,but heres what im gonna do.

at the blade show i bought a Mike Irie skinned,ats 34 and black micarta scales.
it cost me 85 bucks. i will sell it for that and the proceeds will go straight to this member.
shipping included and ALL proceeds will go to him

It looks like we may need to temporarily set up jobs forum somewhere under community. A place where we can all help to change the sheeple content of our work place by actively recruiting (providing leads and tips) to otherwise qualified knifenuts.

I was in chat when this situation came up with one of our own. I asked Don Rearic to take the lead on this as I have to leave town this morning. However, I was able to send a check directly last night and hope others are able to do what they can as well.
