Forums migrated, software updates, some features disabled

When the feedback add-on is updated, it'll be activated again. Until then it's not compatible with the current software version and them's the breaks. I'm monitoring it. Be patient.

If you solely bought a membership because of feedback I don't know what to tell you but that's weird.

You think that's a good idea because you trust yourself not to photoshop it. And I trust you not to as well, because I already know you. But the whole point of the feedback system is that it exists so that people who do not yet have any reason to trust each other can see 3rd party testimony of sellers. A screenshot claiming to be a representation of a seller's feedback score is literally no different than that seller just saying "I'm good for it, trust me". Here's your screenshot, with an extra 5000 positive feedback reports for good measure. Easy peasy.

In other words, it's safer to trust the software to share that information, once it is updated, rather than to let unknown contacts give testimony of themselves.

I was just responding as an advocate for the people who need feedback now, with some possible TEMPORARY solutions that I/We brainstormed here.

We all know it will come back, but it's difficult when not everybody wants feedback vouches, or screenshots of feedback, or making new posts praising a seller/buyer, because feedback is down for a while. We're at the mercy of the 3rd party who made the feedback system, so we know it's not Spark's fault.

Are you suggesting we just keep the exchange open with no feedback available, or just temporarily shut down the Exchange once it gets out of hand? Or, maybe only well known people here will do deals amongst each other through trust, but they would tend avoid lesser known members.

So, here is a 4th way to figure out if a buyer/seller is good or bad, or "safe enough" -> We do a search for all their old posts in the exchange, and in "the good, bad and ugly", to see if they have done a lot of sales/purchases and if there are any complaints?

One of the many reasons I love you.

who need feedback now, with some possible TEMPORARY solutions that I/We brainstormed here.

The scientific method requires falsification, which is all I provided.

Are you suggesting

I made no suggestions, other than not to trust a screenshot, or expect others to trust one. But here is my suggestion, since you asked: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/exchange-best-practices/

Does anyone else get this when they upload an image?

The same images work just fine when I use IMGBB and up until the migration they were loading without issue. (shows a bunch of colored vertical bars for me).

I renewed my Gold membership and it was almost instantaneous, not sure if it was as a result of the new upgrades, but either way it was nice to see how quickly it went through.

Forums have been moved to the new server. We've also updated to the latest version of the forums software so there will be some changes and weirdness. Not all the add-ons that we use are currently compatible with the new version of the software, most notably the Feedback system, but we're expecting an update to that to be pushed shortly. Until then trader feedback is temporarily disabled.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this. Once all updates are complete then new features will be rolled out and other issues looked at.
When will feedback be visible????????

Hmm, I'm using "attach files" and I'm also resizing the image from raw to compress it... but it's the exact same process I've been using forever without issue and the same process I use with IMGBB that shows up fine.

I'll try direct from laptop. Thanks :)

A alex , I wish everyone who uses Imgur would learn how to insert images to the post like you did.
