Question: Are those who have an ANDROID operating system (phone or tablet) limited to "👍 like"?
I don't have the other options anymore.

Are you holding your finger down on the like? For me, I have to hold it down for a second for the options to appear.
Same here, I just hold down for a second for the extra options.

Just tried finger. It worked.
Long hold with mouse ... "nope". 🙄

I have the usual options on my android phone, it's finicky though. Sometimes it'll act normal but then sometimes it'll also pull up a tab selection as if I was going to open it in a new tab, download, copy ect. Just started when the switchover happened.

Have we heard of rough eta on when the feedback should be restored?

I understand this isnt a primary feature of the platform but just paid for gold and exchange privileges are a key perk
I finally bought a Gold membership after years, I never really sell, but there are some new people that I may want to buy from. Feedback is key

Maybe (until feedback is restored) when people post a for sale or to buy, they can give out the linked user name of 2-4 users who can vouch for them in the first post? Using @username like this Spark Spark

Lets please not try to get "vouches" started as any type of meaningful system on this platform. Smh.

Give the powers that be a little grace to get the bugs worked out ... it's not been a week.
IT WOULD BE TEMPORARY. It would be more for someone who is not well known on the forum, UNTIL FEEDBACK IS RESTORED.

I know I wont buy from anyone I don't know here or recognize until it's back.

+1 - I don't want to gripe, but it's the main reason I paid for a gold membership as well.

I am not an expert on knives and I am not looking to be, I just enjoy buying and selling and in an online world this means a lot. I hate to pile on but there is power in numbers, just just throwing my 2 cents in. I hope we can get it worked in.

Thank you.

Refer to post #66 in this thread. Read and comprehend the words “out of Spark’s control”.

Read and understood, but I think post #71 offers a reasonable compromise and a question that went unanswered.

Perhaps if we could get a screenshot of our feedback before the migration or a way to include it under our user title at a static display vs. what we had... I don't sell much, but as a buyer it's nice to see someone that has a healthy transaction record before I send hundreds of dollars to someone I don't know with virtually no recourse. If it can't be done I guess it can't be done but there's no harm in asking and I think it would provide a decent stop gap.

It’s still a bummer if we don’t get our feedback restored. I’m sure like myself a lot of people liked the confidence of dealing with members with good feedback.
I know I did and went out of my way for years to make sure I shipped fast and tried to deliver what I promised.. hopefully we can get it restored and figure it out

ACfixer ACfixer I understand where you are coming from. I am also trying to understand where Spark is coming from. Here's what I have come up with, right or wrong:

He knows what the issues are;
He wants them solved as much as anyone does;
He's working on it as best he can, and in this case has to wait;
If he were aware of, or discovers, a viable temp fix for the issue he'd have implemented it, or will soon;
Asking him the same things in different ways over and over won't help him solve anything.

I haven't been on the forum long, but I get a clear picture that Spark always ends up getting everything done. He's already significantly updated and improved the forum at least a couple times in my short time here, and has been doing so approaching thirty years. Bladeforums is a giant, and has been from the start, with him at the helm almost the whole time. I am not worried in the least.

I found a screenshot of one of my posts from June 2nd showing my feedback, and put it in my signature...

You think that's a good idea because you trust yourself not to photoshop it. And I trust you not to as well, because I already know you. But the whole point of the feedback system is that it exists so that people who do not yet have any reason to trust each other can see 3rd party testimony of sellers. A screenshot claiming to be a representation of a seller's feedback score is literally no different than that seller just saying "I'm good for it, trust me". Here's your screenshot, with an extra 5000 positive feedback reports for good measure. Easy peasy.

In other words, it's safer to trust the software to share that information, once it is updated, rather than to let unknown contacts give testimony of themselves.

Haha, I think I'd make it my icon, if you made it 5k some in the red and zero in the green....... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
