Show's up. That right there is Isabella Sofia...soon to be heiress to the hearts of myself and my wife...and Gordy and Luna of course. Luna seems to know there's a little someone in there as lately she wants to rest her ears against Wifey's tummy. Just a bit earlier she was actually pushing her ears against Wifey's belly. Dogs are funny.

Ha,

my wife and I are thinking of naming our next kid (if it is a girl of course) Sofia Isabella (I lived in Bulgaria for two years, some of which was spend in the capital Sofia so I like that name, although they put the emphasis on the first syllable

That assumes, of course, my wife can convince me we really need a second, and I figure out how to afford it, and if we will have insurance, etc.

BFT, seems like those two names are ridiculously popular these days. Matter of fact, one of my co-workers just had an Isabella, my younger cousin has stated she wants to use the name as well...and being that I teach HS, I've been seeing all the young ladies walking around with a novel called "Twilight," whose central character ALSO happens to be Isabella. Talk about popular...

I originally picked the name, but when I heard all of these instances, I decided it was too common. My mother and wife proceeded to tell me then about how two weeks prior, before we knew we were having a girl, my mother had walked up to a christmas tree containing name ornaments in some store and picked up an ornament she thought was beautiful. When she flipped it over, she saw...yeh, you guessed it: Isabella. I couldn't talk them away from the name, so Isabella Sofia it is.

Btw...William, that is a BEAUTIFUL GSD. He is TRULY going to be olympian in size and grandeur. Hope you take good care of each other.

BJ (Bozz Jr. who is deaf) and Loci... its a size 12 boot.

I love the ESS. They are a truly loyal, loving and playful dog. Full of energy. A true hunter. I had a field bred ESS. He was the BEST dog that I have ever had. I am looking for another field ESS that with good lines and no "springer rage"

I'm a dog lover so it goes without saying I'm a sucker for these type of threads. Here's a couple of our 5 y.o. Akita who loves exploring the outdoors with the family.

Hell of a workout.:foot:

Siku the female rescue husky.

She tries very hard to be a cats best friend but they will have nothing to do with her. Radar likes her but she had to learn that when the cranky old wirehair is sleeping it's best to leave him alone.

C'mon, J. If you're gonna be picture-lazy, at least give us a little story or anecdote. ;)

Umm...I don't have a pic of the little devil.

Maybe 7 lbs with fur ... and all attitude. Like many small dogs, he doesn't know how to back down.

All fire and rage with the big dogs. Yet, my daughter's ferret intimidates him ... and nips him on the snout at will.

Go figure! :confused::eek:

"Siku the female rescue husky."

Had a Siberian growing up. The dog was too intelligent and very nice. I say, "too intelligent" because she knew exactly how to get around the rules for her. She shedded like a cat in the desert and so was not allowed on the sofa etc. Often I would exit the house to drive somewhere but would forget something back inside. Upon returning Keighlie (K-lee) would invariably be on the sofa. The moment she saw that you noticed her she would jump right back off and curl up on the floor. She killed a few of our rabbits, one because she had a cast on her leg and popped it on the head and the other, well, lets just say, you can take a wolf out of the wild but cant take the wild out of the wolf.

Well as most of you know from my avatar.. Boosay Dobber is my pride and Joy...everyone at work knows this also:) but I got her from a ad in a local paper as a pup she had 6 other brother and sisters and they were all in this box when I went to go get her... anyways long story short she is a registered Toy Fox Terrior and when I first saw her stick her head out of the box (with the other puppies) I knew she was mine...little did I know she was deaf...after a stint in Dog School and they said that "she is just spolied" did I relize she was deaf...At that point I knew that I was destined to have her cause no one else would have taken her cause she did not fit the full AKC stats....SHE IS VERY SPOILED and my baby:)

I was always a Dog person however this guy Willie B. (That is Willie Busse for short) actually was a cat that the shop adopted..in my early days at Busse I would go in early and on the weekends to get caught up on work and he would come in my office and keep me company I always loved Willie but was afraid to bring him home cause of my spoiled little Boosay..well he kept setting off the alarms at work and Jerry and the crew said take him before the SWAT team comes in...LOL

Well Boosay Dobber and Wille B. are best buds now and they keep each other company when I am at work....

I also have adopted 2 other Cats that live in a heated Garage..(yea I leave my cars outside in the tundra for them:D)

Buddy and Blackie they showed up at my house and are the sweetest cats ever...I would bring them in the house (I do sometimes) but Willie B. has a thing with Buddy 2 male cats not so good) so I am working on that

I do not have children per say...But these are my babies...I will try to post pics at some point of Blackie and Buddy but it is SOOO hard to get pictures of them.

Thanks for the Great thread

Many Hugs and Kisses

Great pets, Amy. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the story. You guys really are a family up there in Wauseon. Willie B actually looks like a statue on a pedestal when you first look at that pic.

Willie B.

Thank you for sharing Boosay Dobber and Wille B. pictures with us Amy.
I have to admit in the past I thought Busse people were a bunch of roughnecks. But like I become INFI addictive, I realize people here are actually kind and caring, most of them just larger than life.
