Answer:

Well, between Scotch and nothin', I suppose I'd take Scotch. It's the nearest thing to good moonshine I can find.

I was looking to upgrade my knives as I felt what I had was not the best especially, if or when I might need it to save my life in a extreme situation. While I was comfortable with my gun's, the same could not be said of my knives as I had not invested in them the way I should have. I went looking over the net and found Knifetest.com which led me here. I found a bunch of folk's ready and willing to help and have been here everyday since. As for as Busse/Kin knives, I truely believe they( Busse ) strive to make the best knives they can. That cannot be said of most companies and product's these day's. The warranty is second to none, and the warranty gives you insight into the ethic's of this company. While it may be a struggle sometimes to afford them, you know what your getting is worth the money and will last forever. This is important to me and now have the confidence in my equipment, I never enjoyed before. Thanks for the chance to win, maybe someday I will be in the position to do the same.

Thank you very much for the generous contest.

I found the busse forum a while ago now, and have learned a lot about knives here. I'm happy to say that I was lucky enough to be able to get a nmfbmle and a boss street ( which I stripped after reading how to do it here). I love my 2 busse knives, and use them as often as I can.

I enjoy reading the posts in the forum, and hope to have something worthwhile to contribute some day.

Thanks for the oppurtunity,

Ryan

Im with davz45, I am too new but I feel like if I have a question all I have to do is ask and wait fifteen minutes and its answered! Awesome forum, but true knife collectors and users are usually always good people.

Thanks for the chance!

Also, I love guns and have nothing against weatherby but I would rather see the hat go to a weatherby fan!

Guns and knives. Yum. Sold the HellRazor, too pretty to use. Still have the BAIII, also too pretty to use but can't bring myself to sell it either. Quite the conundrum. My son will be a lucky man when I hand it down to him, he'll get the 34 as well. Thanks for the opportunity.

It's been great reading these posts :D

I don't have a trench knife, but here's a cool image from the Springfield Armory Museum (link below)

Yup, WWI American made trench knife  Too bad that thing probably didn't see any action in WWI, the Americans were running behind in their production and a lot of them didn't see the battle field; but they did see action in later wars. I have a French AU Lion US Trench knife that did see action though :D

Ooooo....do I love trench knives :D

Oh, I have seen some international interest in this giveaway, which is great!

I WILL ship overseas, it is a giveaway and giving back to the community so if you don't live in the good ol' US of A and you're interested in this, please feel free to post

I'm in to show my appreciation of the generosity of such folk as are oft found on this forum.

I found my way to Busse and these forums via Cliff Stamp's cutleryscience.com and Noss' knifetests.com, looking for a one-tool indestructible knife, and I have since learned more than I expected regarding steel and the manufacture of quality knives and swords. Though in awe of INFI, I've never simultaneously found a model I want at a price I can afford, so a great many of you bastard hogs have my envy. Instead, I've fallen into buying SR101 in the RMD, HRLM, RS, and SYKCO 511. I'm working my way up to purchasing the INFI...

If there's a Scrapivore in need of a new home, I'm more than willing to bring it in ;)

redropcola, you better take the pic of the glock down before M67 disqualifies you :D:thumbup:

ps, Im gonna hold out on this contest so if my post # comes up as the winner, pass it on to someone else.

I've learned alot of things from the forum over the years as a quiet reader. First and foremost the forums have trained me to eat spaghetti with butter, canned veggies from walmart, and 50cent hotdog packages while I spent all my money on steel.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I love reading this forum for the feeling of community I get from it.
The awesome knife pics and info are good too.
Thanks for the give away.

I'm in. This forum is where I go to feed my obsession for blades. Thanks for the opportunity.
