Free knives to give away

I think it was mentioned that the contest was going to be a skills contest? As in outdoor skills? If it is, I hope it's during the summer when I'll actually have time to participate...

You guys are great. I can't imagine S****er, B***e, C*K, or any other manufacturer doing this.
I'm in.

Imagine a little harder. I cant vouch for the other two, and your "clever" masking, but Busse has donated and given away many many knives through the years. Most recently the "Santaganza" where over five figures worth of knives were given away.

I'm no defender of the steel, I found it to be akin to banging my head on a wall, but I found your comment somewhat offensive, sorry.

Good point. Putting down other companies don't belong here.

I 100 percent agree. As far as I'm concerned, Busse is one of the best companies in the industry. They support their customers, have a great product and offer one of the best warranties in the industry.

Thanks Esav and Jeff, I hoped I hadn't overstepped something. I just dont see any reason to bash another maker, no matter what.

I own products from the cheapest to silly expensive, and I don't look down on anyone for their choices.

Its all good! :D

I'd like to compare one of these against my 1095 TAK.
It would have some big shoes to fill.

Les, the handle on the TAK is very similar to that on the ESEE 5/6. I find it a lot more comfortable than the smaller handle on the ESEE3/4 -- but the 3 at 1/8" thick is a very capable little slicer and does a lot of useful tasks without weighing much at all.
I can carry my -3 in pocket in the factory sheath without really noticing it in there until I want it. very nice for "grab and go" type jobs around the property.
Is it "better" than the TAK? not sure I haven't done any SXS comparison, but it is a handy tool.

I love knives, building things and free stuff... I love this contest! :) Thank you, that is awesome!

Contest: Make survival man-bikinis from items found in nature. Must use Esee products to make.

Like this?

That is... quite the picture. Pictures may be worth a thousand words, but there are just no words for that.

Well, I guess it could have been worse...

Count me in too... I've been looking for a second knife... :D

I like my RC6 so I am pretty sure that the RC3 will be a good company to my RC6... it tells me it feels lonely at nights... :D :D :D
