I bought my first Sebenza last week, a small CF Insingo and it all spiraled out of control lol. Luckily I had a few spydies I was selling but the pure simplicity of the Sebenza is amazing. There's nothing extra but there's more than enough, if that makes sense. I still love Spyderco but I think I found a new favorite!

No kidding! I'm with you. It's weird but the same thing happened to me, it is like a contagious infirmity. I have now 3 21's, 2 25's, 2 Umnumzaans and 2 TiLocks, and I only wanted to get a regular 21. Those are some sweet blades man, wanna sell them? Just kidding, I'm so broke I can't buy anything right now, I really like that carbon fiber one, it is beautiful. Congratulations! I also love my Spyderco blades, and I am going to sell them so I can finance my sickness.

It's a slippery slope. At one time I owned 2 Seb 21s and 4 Zaans

Currently have 2 Zaans and a 25 but I'm selling one Zaan and the 25. One will do for now

Sweet trio, Congratulations on those new Sebenza's !!!!!
I guess you're in the same boat as myself and others, you've shifted your choice in knives. I love all my knives, but I love the CRK's the most. Spyderco was my gateway knife into this addiction. Still have some I cannot bring myself to sell.
I feel each of my knives serves a purpose and that no one knife is the "one", but the CRK's are as close as it gets.

I so agree, it is slippery indeed, what is addicting to me is the amazing quality, at first I was not interested in the 21 so I got a carbon fiber 25 and a wilson combat 25, but the moment I handled a 21 and saw the construction I really tripped out; I never understood people spending hundreds of dollars on a knife, and now I don't understand why they don't. It's weird. I think it is a disease.

I'm in way over my head LOL. I would love to get a carbon fiber inlay seb....gorgeous knife.

The small insingo is actually a carbon fiber too :D

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy I finally checked them out at the shop. I was a Benchmade guy for over 15 years until this spring when I handled a paramilitary then it was bye bye Benchmade and i bought about 4 dozen new spydies and a few microtech since then. I'm not brand loyal to any one company but but right now if I had to pick one knife to keep as a user it'd be my small Insingo.

I went deep into spydies and hunted down all the rare carbon fiber S90V sprints but was afraid to use and scuff them up so they collected dust. I grew sick of them sitting in the drawer unused so it spurred me to sell a few and try that Insingo and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Now I have nice, beautiful and well built blades that I'm not afraid to use!

I think the small micarta 21 tanto is next on my radar.

And what's after that? And after that? :p :p :p :p :p

LOL I've already been thinking of that...probably a Nyala then an Inoski but who knows, maybe I'll find a nice CF Raindrop damascus for a good price like my buddy recently did.

Holy cripes! ^

I handled one of the folders on the left in your pic, the Mandini (sp?) I believe it's called? That's one I would love to have too. I doubt I'd use it though and I'm really trying to use all my knives from now on but I'm sure the collector in me will give in again...

I think I'll get the Nyala next for sure but I'm going to make a set of scales for it. I have some beautiful stabilized buckeye burl I was saving for one of my Mules but since I have three already I want to try a new fixed blade. It feels great in hand and I think it'd be a superb deer knife.

Wolf you're killing me man, I feel like I'm going to cry. What material is the white inlay one? The first on top. I have never seen one like it. You sure have an impressive collection, I'm envious.
