I want to try the Lancer out. I should find out if my local store is carrying them.

I NEED to get a Shamwari though. That is my absolute grail knife.
 
ever since handling one at NYCKS i've been eyeing the the busker. i didn't feel like paying or waiting for a custom order, but the guys at olamic did mention dealers should start getting them in December. has anyone seen them show up?

on a side note, i wish people would check the WTB threads... one just sold for $325 on .892 :(

right, i know they olamic was selling them. i emailed them too, just didn't want to wait a month for a custom order. i was asking if anyone saw any popping up at third party dealers

Just wait the month out, dude. Then the knife will be even more special since it is exactly what you want.

I've waited for months on custom orders. Eventually the anticipation wears off and then suddenly your knife arrives unexpectedly. It's like Christmas when you were 10 years old:D

haha nice. i'll probably put an order in right after the holiday season if i don't see them pop up at vendors. the thing is i just want a base model, i like simple designs and even the plain jane is a pretty busy design. they don't even have any of those left

Sorry, buddy. If it makes you feel any better I freaking LOVE this Busker. It hasn't left my hands since I got it. It's my first front flipper, and the seller mentioned the strong detent, and for the life of me I couldn't open the dang thing any way but 2 handed. A cleaning and lube job, dialing in the pivot and I can open it 9 of the 10 ways (the index finger on the flipper tab just ain't gonna happen...) easily. It's a perfect sized knife for my extra medium hands, it really does double duty as a fidget toy, and it's on Christmas duty this year to help everyone open any taped up packages.....

nice! looks kind of long, and the action doesnt seem that smooth from the vid, but i'm still interested.

Agreed with the post above. You cannot ask value without a membership.

For what it's worth boker even it's limited editions do not hold value. The knives they make in china are a very low quality. Often not even worth what they cost new.
