Future of Tenacious?

Don't have a tenacious yet, but it's next on my list. I think a smaller one is a great idea but would also love a bigger one. Is there any chance there's one of those in the works as well?

edited to add: maybe you could call the bigger one the 'stubborn bastard'

Eric has been considering a large one. He called it the "resilience".

Eric likes those big beefy knives huh. I mean with him and the whole Manix project and everything . I just keep thinking about the new Manix with the ball lock and that awesome price point. And now you're telling me there is a possibility for larger Tenacious.....and didn't we just get done discussing the Chinook possibilities in the future...

Man these knives are getting stronger and stronger. I love this company so much!

Since the Persistence is also an economy knife how about a Caly3 in textured carbon fiber and S90V? Yes?
Thanks in advance.

you don't like ZDP steel?

I don't like pinned construction. ;)

ZDP I actually preferred in the Caly3. It made it seem more like a refined glass of wine then a F350 Super Duty. The Millies are made to work, the Caly3 (especially in CF/ZDP) is just meant to glide.

I'll definitely be buying any smaller and larger versions of the Tenacious when they come out.
Right now the Tenacious is my favorite Spyderco! FFG and lack of choil being my favorite features.

Still want a Centofante 3 though.
Will there be a next gen Centofante 3?
Maybe one without pinned construction and maybe with steel liners like the Endura 4?

I'll agree with you for the intent. However, I could argue that the Caly 3 was just meant to glide and slice as well. No need for a heavy duty military steel :)

Hi!
Having said that, I'm wondering if there are any plans in the future to put different colored handles on the Tenacious? I love the material feel and look that is on it now, but I wouldn't mind OD green or Orange. Just thought I'd ask. Really, this is the best knife I've ever owned.
Thanks Spyderco for making such a great, affordable knife.

You could also ask Potterma who resides on this forum too.

I have yet to pick up and try out a SE Tenacious. :foot: It's on the to do list though! :D

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone at SPYDERCO for such good quality and service. I have the Tenacious in both SE and PE and they are outstanding.

New variants sound sweet. "Must haves".

Now if they could just add a little color.....

Color is a big deal to me. Take this past weekend, I stumbled on a Pink Native. That's about as rare as hen's teeth over here. I nearly didn't buy it as it was expensive at around $166, but I couldn't say no to the pretty color. The salesman wanted to know why I wanted a "girly" knife. I could have told him about the fundraising for breast cancer initiative, I could have told him about the Native ergos, but I really wanted the pink Spyderco. All those pretty colors, pink, blue, green, grey, white, yellow, black, red, camo...

How about a Tenacious with one variant color....
