I guess if KW had allowed 1 per...but they did not. Some people like to have a back up
 
Geez, if someone would just buy one of my knives for sale, then maybe I could put in my pre-order.

I've been wanting to try out S90V for quite some time now, as well as the XL Manix2. Hopefully I'll get a chance to snag one.
 
It looks like a great work knife. Big handle, but not too thick a blade. Solid lock, and a steel that stays working sharp for a long time.
 
I missed the first 100 run but pre ordered so I don't miss out. Tha XL is my fav out of the manix line. Can't wait
 
Mine showed up in the mail this morning. Colorado can be proud of this one. Everything is tight, straight, and centered. It will shave the hair off your arm with little effort. For a nearly 4" blade it feels very light and that peel ply is so grippy. I didn't take any pictures because the pictures posted from KW are better than the one I could do but it looks just like it.:) Thank you KNIFEWORKS for taking on this sprint run. I have been really looking forward to this knife since last year when it was announced.
 
The original Manix 2 S90V went for $190 if I remember correctly. Another $30 for a bit more materials and inflation doesn't seem unreasonable. A lot cheaper than they will be on the secondary market considering the Manix 2 has gone for over $600 before. Not sure which one I will like better but I intend to find out.
 
Still looks like you can pre-order. I'm actually surprised it has stayed open for so long.

Yup. I figure it's the 800 pieces in the sprint run. I like it. More to go around. It only hurts those trying to sell them on the secondary market for a quick profit.

Im real sad I missed out on reasonably priced s90v CF original Manix 2s. That was one of the best all time EDC knives IMHO. This XL will be great too, but a little bit big for me to EDC in the city much.
