More than just the kukri? I hope so, i have never used a kukri but the shape of them just throw me off, I mean as a jungle tool or for lighter thinner brush i can get it but as a large knife or chopper for me they would be more of a disadvantage i think.

Plus re-sharpening would be more of a pain.

I have been wanting to try my hands at one though just so i can see for myself what advantage they may hold, and the only reason i havent jumped on one from Kabar or Ontario is because im waiting to find out the price of the Becker one. So im not saying i wont get the becker kukri when its released but i do hope they bring a new regular styled knife out soon as well.

Yes more than just the RBK.

However the RBK is an OMG chopper! Tried out E's on some bamboo and some willow and holy schnikeys!
 
Dubz is right we do need some new steel around here. I remember when the tweeners came out this place was poppin off. If I remember correctly over in the kabar forum Toooj said the BK6 kukri was not gonna happen. I could be wong but I think something else is on the table now. I saw a cropped screenshot of a new design on a computer a few months back post on here...

Anyone have experience with Sorel boots? I found a pair of caribou boots in my size for really cheap.. nothing i would need down here, but almost too good to pass up.. just wondering if they are worth it.

Still rather die. BTW I've seen someone try this on TV. They filtered it multiple times until it was "safe" according to whatever that gizmo was they were testing it with. Dude took a sip and looked like he was gonna hurl.

Most companies try to roll out new stuff every year and knives are no exception. Other than the RBK I have no clue what's in the works but I'm still excited to see what Ka-Bar is gonna roll out.

Kukri shaped blades actually chop pretty well, though things like grind and thickness still need to be taken into account. I have an Ontario kukri and it's a beast.

Yeah I've read one post that said Ka-Bar didn't have the capabilities to make them state side, that it would be too expensive to produce, and that it just didn't perform well enough to bother with. With all the different excuses flying around I'm hoping that it's all just to throw us off. But I know that's not likely.

Sorry, no. I use Rocky boots. I use the rocky 8" Alpha with zipper and I have to say those are some fricking comfy boots!

I was drinking between 1 to 2, 2liters a day myself for years without ever having an issue... Then just several days back i started getting heart palpitations just 10-20 minutes after finishing a cup of pepsi.. 1 cup, my first cup of the day, my heart would feel like it was going to explode and id get all anxious. it was a bit scary the first time i though i was having a heart attack.

So i did a bunch of reading and found out that caffeine is a common cause of the stuff i was experiencing and also read that some people become more sensitive to caffeine as they age, hence older people switching to decaf after years of heavy coffee drinking.

So i stopped drinking pepsi and the symptoms stopped showing up. Now im drinking caffeine free and will most likely just stick to this from now on.
