Took the wife to an enormous craft fair today over in Missouri. :D:D:D:D:D:D

After a few hours of looking at bling, glitz, beads and painted pottery I asked her if she was ready to go. "Hey....this is my Blade Show."

Good enough for me.
 
Some freaking kid went and threw the snark balance all off. I bet Bladite bans him........
 
I got my first fire of the season going in our fireplace insert. Im not sure why I waited so long.

Its a lot of fun but it really helps with the heat bill as well. Now the only problem is the baby is 8 months and all over the place. The wife is kind of freaked. However all of the other ones only got burned once.

Not a single knife or leather worker. I honestly thought there would have been or I would have skipped this estrogen fest. It was the first time I remember feeling "tall" however.

Well your wife is about as good as they come so good on you for sucking it up. Still stinks that they didnt have ANY cool stuff Missouri should have had some old man carving staffs or making knives with saw blades or something.

Gus there ARE some advantages to being more compact. Particularly for rock climbers. That and I always said when teased about my height, "I skipped getting in line for height, and got in line for length and breadth instead".....lol

And it looks like its going rather slowly at that.

Wife and kids been gone all day, I didnt take anything out for dinner cause they ate at some craft show. Just walked up the block to the Chinese restaurant and got a single order of hot and spicy beef with pork fried rice. I thought he gave me the wrong box because it was heavy as hell. Got home and threw it on the kitchen scale and it weighed 823grams :eek:

Put an offer in for a new place today as well, to rent, My wife's father's girlfriend/roommate ( i dont know what they got going on LMAO) goes to church with some people trying to rent a nice 3 story house on over 70 acres of wooded land not in Philadelphia but not too far either. Wife went and looked at it and fell in love. close to a creek and surrounded by woods. Im in love LMAO. So i had her put an offer in on it, crossing my fingers but it sounds to good to be true. Id be able to play with my bow and knives all i wanted. Has a huge fireplace a work shed, screened in porch and a deck on the other side. On the other side of the 70+ acres of woods is the church who owns all that land and they dont mind if the renter of that house uses the woods however they want as they dont use them.

Kids would be in a great school district, and id get to spend as much time in the woods as i wanted, crossing my fingers and asking the spirits for a little help with this one, it would be a dream come true for us. I pay 850 for rent where im at now, the offer i put was for more than that but a little less than what they are asking for, but the owners told my wifes father's girlfriend that if she found someone who wanted to rent it that had children but couldnt quite afford it they would still work with them as they want the house to go to someone who would really benefit from the large house and lots of play room. So its possible but still i cant get too excited for it, I dont want to be disappointed. I already know it sounds to good to be true but im going to keep crossing my fingers. We will find out by tuesday for sure and if they accept the offer or make a reasonable counter offer we could move in around Jan-Feb, coincidentally my lease here is up in mid January. Man i hope this works out.
