Burr is right. So I'm up at 7 on a Saturday morning getting ready to head to my sons school for his basketball game at 8 A.M. we got in last night at about 10:30 from his game last night. Did I mention he's in third grade? Who schedules this sh!t.

What makes you say we can't take the heat? I got no problems with heat, especially from a 13 year old. And I have no problem with children in general, even if they're a little hyper. We were all children once, and as such should listen to what they have to say, as I do with my own kids. But I will not treat them as equals. There is too much of a life experience gap, and even if they know the meaning of the words, they'll never get the jokes....not until after they've had some life experience of their own. I'm not against MM being here on the forum, or even in the snark thread, I think most of the time it's refreshing; but I'm not going to stop being a cantankerous old man for any child. And I'll snark back, but only 'cause he asked nicely for it: "someone please snark me back".

-11 is chilly! Even for me! And I love the cold weather! My apartment currently doesn't have the heat on so it is like 48-50 in here. I know the people upstairs HATE me cause usually the benefit of living in an apartment with people below you is the heat rises from their apartment into yours.

I'm a couple of cups in just being lazy. I need to help clean up before some future inlaws come down for a visit this evening. I'm also sitting here looking at the clock counting down the time until the brewery opens to run downtown and get a few growlers filled.
