G10 is the best material for knife scales.

G10 has proven to be a good handle material. There so many other materials out there that rival it, especially when it comes to people’s personal preferences. Micarta, aluminum, titanium, cord wrapped etc.

Ti preferred over most other materials, Al isn't bad either but does tend to really show wear over time. I'm still undecided on micarta and there's so many variations. I think I do like G10 over micarata as it requires less maintenance and can be done in different ways, with or without texture. Don't really care for cf.

Native 5 G10 is pretty standard with no complaints, Vallotton G10 is much nicer. Adamas just works for what it is.
