Are the new dimples in the thumb studs done by machine? If so, then machines can definitely foul up. Haha

The dimple is vastly off center on one of my new Sebs.

Not me. I refuse to bother to look, even though there's a Seb within a foot of this keyboard. :D Typing, on the other hand... Did I mention that the stenciling on some of my keys is not centered on the keys? :eek: :( :rolleyes:

Really? You're going to be crass because I mentioned that the dimple is off center? It's not like I made a thread complaining about it.

Lol now I remember why I haven't been on the forum for a while.

He was talking about the gap...he mentioned it in previous pages..."not looking etc" he was NOT referring to your post...

If its crap to you why bother to read it? I'm confused. A 500$ pocket knife shouldn't have a crooked thumb stud. Although its no big deal and I'll gladly carry the knife I was just curious. Sorry it's "crap" to you my sincere apologies gtfo here.

Hello my friend, you asked a serious question and it was pretty much answered on the first page. I would not read into much of what was said after, especially if it bothers you.

Its kind of funny that since CRK makes such precision knives, that we as buyers try to find a negative somewhere ( In NO WAY am I implying thats what you were doing ). If its something that really does bother you, CRK will make it right, I know it and you know it too. Congrats on the micarta sebbie though. I have always wanted one, but just was never able to acquire one. I personally would love to have a large classic micarta. Happy CRKing....!

Thanks man! I'm happy with the knife. Was just curious. These other comments people make dont surprise me it's bf it happens all the time.

No biggie! :cool: And, for what it's worth, while I'm still not checking for .0005" air gaps on my lugs, I would be able to see the off-center section of your dimple even without my glasses on. Heck, I could probably find it with a cane even if the dog couldn't figure it out. :eek: ;) If it'd been me at the bench, I think I would have pulled that set and reached back into the bin for another set that were better looking. :(
