Gareth bull: Slow Delivery/waitlist thread

I'm on the list for a shamwari but havent been on the list very long so idk what the wait time will be like but I'm not expecting anytime soon which is alright I've only sent 2 emails out 2 gareth and he answered both so I'm happy
 
Try waiting for a Lochsa. I mean their are a lot of makers that take way longer and deadlines, forget about it.
 
Hey all

First off, your support is massively appreciated! I'll not waste it.

I've been chatting to, well everyone really, about how to move forward from here and it looks like I have a solid plan of action. Basically boils down to working hard AND smart.

From here, orders should be leaving the bench with gathering momentum, I'm not going to rush anything - nothing leaves the bench until it's right- but I will be working to get them out as fast as possible so good news all round.

I also get the point at the heart of the thread. While an extended wait can be frustrating it's easier to cope with if everyone knows what's going on - communication is key.

Also, I'd like to add that I've been offered help and sage advice to come right. The advice has been the real kicker, solutions I should have seen a mile off!! I've also been reading up on how the big names go about making a success of knifemaking, to which end, if anyone has an idea or such, feel free to PM me - I'm all ears.

that's a great looking knife! seems to be serving you quite well so far.

now did you order 2 knives or did Gareth incorporate the shamwari handle design with the warlock blade?

Wolf, that's a plain Warlock with multiscales that I received today.
Shamwari is next weeks teaser, "mule warlock" (multi blade option) nearly complete. Ill post picks as I get them. The LONG wait has been worth it.

oh i guess you got the cutout on the warlock shown. kind of has a shawari'esk design. I was confused for a second :)

cant wait for my email! Gareth has assured me it will be soon :)
