GEC #15 Boys... Help me decide

They will be releasing a run of the #15 Boy's Knife with a Clip Main Blade very soon. It will be released with the same handle materials as the #15 Boy's Knife Spear Blade Knives. They typically do not repeat a run of knives for a number of months, maybe a year or more. When they're gone, they're gone.

Sure, they'll do spear and clip versions of most of their patterns, but can I get a spear point Cuban? Of course not. Oh, well.

Just tellin the poster what knives the Factory is working on. No they haven't made every pattern known to mankind in every blade configuration possible. The poster asked about the availability of the #15 Boy's Knife.

The site listing says this one is sold out, but this looks pretty darned good.

Wow

Just got one with red bone scales. I was trying to be good this month... :( :o

Appreciate the info, everyone. There seems to be some red bones, and quite a few nitebrites, around, so those are tempting. But, man, I had my heart set on an ebony.

That was just one site man, I should have clarified. Yeah, I wished I could've gotten one of the ebony jacks, but nope, sold out. Most sites don't have any jacks or single blades to boot.

Just snagged a red bone two bladed #15. I wanted one in ebony but now feel pretty lucky that I even found one at all!

Just to be clear (and for those reading after), the first run of Boys Knives featured spear blade mains.

There's a new run coming out very soon with clip blade mains, both single and double blade models, in the same three cover materials as before-- ebony, rust red jigged bone, and Nifebrite.

Are there any comparison shots of the boy's knife next to a peanut, case canoe, or some other common pattern?

Looks like they also moved the last pin to where the head bolster used to be, and added a fourth pin as well.
