GEC 2023 #87 English Jack

I doubt very much that anyone who pulls the trigger on one of these is going to regret it. I bet you get a good one!

I'm giving some serious consideration to hunting down a backup for my Church Glass.

I say that to myself, then a Northwoods in mammoth or kudu drops for the same price in the single blade version I was wanting :D - instant regret

Received it yesterday and put it in the rotation today.

Might I suggest something along the lines of "154CM Titanium Framelocks"? I can almost guarantee nobody would ever open that thread if they weren't already "in the know."
Yeah, ha-ha! Though it would be removed to the modern knives forum where it surely would gain much attention, lol.

Sticking to the subject, knowing the prices, I am not sure anymore what option I prefer. I guess price would be the main decisive factor here. Would love the red bone version, but I already have an indian paintbrush 65, and considering they have same blade...

This went up this morning. Photo looks a little dark compared to the pictures from the assembly line. I am very excited for this one. People have been saying the F&F on all variations has been spot on. I also must say I was wrong about the Royal Blue Acrylic. It is a very sexy knife 😂 with a lot more depth than I expected. The camels though were a big gamble. You can find the ugly ones today right on the bay! Please post pics if you got one of the awesome camel varietals! I am a little upset at myself for not trying for one.

Given that I paid as much for an Albers with no fancy bolsters or blade etch and wood vs camel bone, these 87s can command the higher price tag. I may be a little bias… though. View attachment 2142296
Outstanding pic! Such a beautiful bone examples! May I ask what was the color of the lettering on the 87's tube cap?

Ugh, thought I was done buying knives for the month, then I read this thread and see the camel bones showing up.

The benefit of this 87 is that’s I can use this clip to slice my chicken right after using the pen to trim my nose hairs - no cleaning required in between either!

It was too difficult to take a selfie of my nose hairs so here’s the chicken and a nicely developing patina.
