The avocados are very nice. I've been trying to get one, but no luck yet.View attachment 2197700
These are just simple, good knives. Easy to use, nice and tight, centered, compact, quality materials. Hard to pick which one becomes a user, but I'm leaning avocado.
The orange was my favorite of the run for sure.Looks like the acrylic turned out good on this run
You’ll love the orange scramble, it’s a great acrylic with lots going on in it. I have that same regret for passing on the pheasant acrylic. Don’t even see it on the secondary market too often. After seeing everyone’s photos here I decided to try for an orange scramble and luckily just landed one. This is my first dog leg so I’m really excited. I remember the last time the 56 were out they had the pheasant arcyrlics that sat around for a while and I passed up for some reason and regretted it.
A fine acquisition.I wasn’t sure I’d be in on this run, but as others have said, I didn’t have a #56 (or any dog legs, really), and the jigged Micarta piqued my curiosity, so I grabbed one. It’s a nice knife, comfortable in hand, with a pleasantly strong pull. The jigged Micarta is nice, and I really like the color of it, sort of a butterscotch or brown mustard. I also like the federal/crest shield GEC has been using recently. I sharpened this one up and dropped it in my pocket.
