Wow, I've not seen a 25 of that specific breed, how intriguing. Thank you very much Champ

I have a particular liking for their clip secondary, I think it makes for an excellent little slicer. A partnership with a straight edge is an exceptional pairing :D

PMEW thats a wonderful knife! Not only do the clip and Wharncliff compliment each other for cutting tasks they look good together.

I have never really cared for the 25 but kinda getting the itch now. I need a good stag knife with some well matched popcorn scales.

Think we will get a 25 soon?

This is, in fact, my favorite blade configuration on this wee pattern.

A clip blade looks (and admittedly, 'feels') more Correct to me, but the pinch-able wharncliffe main paired with the swoopy clip blade is so very directly useful. What say.

Three Barlows and a Capped Jack in the Wharncliffe/Clip configuration;

One of my favorite configurations also. I think the Banana one was also one of my first WLST's© and the stag is also very nicely matched...

My guess and hope is that they will make some more this autumn or shortly after. All the existing inventory at the dealers is long gone and the last run was a pretty big one. The price of the 2015 models has gone way up on the exchange and other markets. So, to me, that means there is plenty of demand.

Ever since stumbling upon this thread I have become obsessed with this pattern. The wealth of knowledge and beautiful examples posted have been both enlightening and enviable And as you point out Travman, the secondary market can be cruel to the addicted...

I need a stag with the wharnclip main and clip secondary. So weird how I used to consider this one of the uglier patterns and now it's growing on me.

But those secondary prices are crazy.

At first, I thought those small Clips were Drop-Points....

A new 25 release would be very well received - let's omit the EZ-Open notches for a bit shall we?;)

It would've made a great Forum Knife with say single Wharncliffe and special light coloured bone.....

Not a rumor, #25 spear point Barlows are coming. From a very reliable source:

Current plan is that GEC will be producing the #25 Barlow in both Tidioute and Northfield trim. Single Spear Blade. The Northfield is an SFO for CollectorKnives.

The Tidioute will have a long bolster and the Northfield will have the long UN-X-LD stamped bolster. I have no concrete information on the Tidioute yet.

Northfield: Long pull, satin finish blade, no etch, no shield.

Buffed stag is stag that was previously culled due to lack of character that will be buffed near smooth.

No price / time estimates yet. Details subject to change.
