GEC #35 Churchill Thread

I find myself looking at maroon linen and ebony 35s on dealer sites way too often. Such a great knife.

This has become my favorite GEC pattern! I bought the Churchill and a #56 Dogleg at the same time and I haven’t carried the Dogleg once!
Unfortunately I was a little late to pick one of these models up. I was able to score an ebony one, and finally found a “Yellow Rose” model!

It's very close to my ideal knife. A decently sized blade with belly and a super thin sheepsfoot or wharnie, all with the slimness of a single spring. Make it a 4" cigar with a drop point and a sheepsfoot and it would be flat-out perfect. I'd only want an awl if it kept the single spring ...
 
If I hadn't change my collecting habits one of those stag 35's would be in my pocket.
