Gec #38 whittler

This is a nice little knife. Great blade fit, no rub! I'm glad G.E.C. added the pattern, and they nailed it!

very sleek pattern, I like it aesthetically more than the Gepetto (no idea which whittles better). Green bone is the nicest looking for me.

I remember a time when people complained that GEC models were too stumpy, and not elegant enough. Now with the #81, the #82, and the #38, this is no longer an issue.

I passed on the pre-sale of these, and am hoping there are a few around now that I can actually see them. Nice that they're pretty long. I think the sexiest part of a whittler are the backsprings, must be tough to do right! Are the Northfields out yet?

Looks real nice in the rosewood. But I am waiting for the red pick bone to pair with my green pick bone.

Here's a moving picture too... :)

I'm tickled Bill made this pattern,I think it will be a classic.

I found it interesting you chose the darker camel bone, whereas I like the lighter version of the camel bone.No accounting for taste.:)

I am pretty much a tasteless guy.

What a beautiful and classic pattern, I absolutely love it! I'll get some pics up of my 38's, thanks for all the eye candy y'all!!!

Great vid too Derrick, I really like your explanation of spring/liner configuration!

Man those look great, does anyone know if they have any in 440C yet?
