Haha, sorry man.Pioneer bone looks great.
Edit looks like Alex beat me to it haha.
Love the variation! I would happily carry any of these.
I just think maybe they should've changed the shield for pioneer bone, or even remove it? 25 with pioneer bone looks very different.Love the variation! I would happily carry any of these.
WOW, that's a lot of variation in covers.
Now we're getting somewhere. Another missed opportunity, much like 222222.If they would have used a zulu spear instead of the straight one this knife would have broken the internet. A 3.5” zulu spear with a curved handle? The GEC 39 could have been the biggest news since the 93 lambsfoot.
Missed opportunity for whoever wanted something different other than what's shown. What does missed opportunity mean? For whom?![]()

Well, just for you opportunists, I have seen commented on several occasions by people close to the man. That Bill Howard is not a fan of the Zulu spear. Hear say, second hand conversation, whatever just what I have seen. They could make it on the next pattern, who knows. If they would have used a zulu spear instead of the straight one this knife would have broken the internet. A 3.5” zulu spear with a curved handle? I've seen that rumor reported a few times around these parts. It's fine. I don't think the zulu spear is the epitome of spear points, but it is (so far) a one-off blade shape from GEC. The fact that the #39 has the same profile as the #74 in a smaller package just seems to me like the perfect opportunity to revive the "esky zulu" in a smaller knife. I think the regular spear looks fine on the #39.Well, just for you opportunists, I have seen commented on several occasions by people close to the man. Outstanding knife! Might have been even better with a clip blade, but shouldn't there be some major difference between forum knife and public release? They'll make a public knife with a clip blade, eventually. I guess... Funny thing is, more patterns - more joy, but also the more patterns they make the less appearances of each we would see.
Why camel bone paintjob always differs drastically?

Even that sloppy?..

I also remember the blue 94's being almost white.
It is misleading when their promotional picture shows such pretty examples, but 95% of the knives will be pink. GEC really should stop with the elderberry knives. Nobody really wants a pink knife with white edges. Everyone is hoping for one of the darker ones.
Instead of Elderberry, they should be trying for a deep & dark red. Like Case’s classic red bone knives.
"Elderberry"
