I love the way you captured the red in the Cocobolo. I find that you need sun light to see the red. Indoor lighting never shows it.

I've seen these patterns posted many times. But WOW... these pictures are stunning!! I also just noticed, these are two similar knives with two different shields?

You are right about the sunlight. The table is by a big window. I can usually get good (and easy) shots there.

I've used one of the knives quite a bit since I took the photos and as far as I can see the red has subdued some. That's the way of cocobolo unfortunately.
