GEC #86 2021: Angus Jack, 2AB, Spring Street Barlow (BF Knife)

I just grabbed a well done. My first GEC purchase since the congress jack in 2020. Excited for this one! I kinda want to score a 2AB and have the blades between the 2 swapped.

That might be a difficult job with the bolster on the 2AB. but I do agree the end result sounds good

Honestly I'm not usually a huge fan of sheepsfoot blades, I do like a coping as a secondary. But I snagged one of the 86 Angus to have a look, just waiting for it to ship.

Just got it, and wow. Incredible production quality and fit and finish. Looks like something from a time capsule from the 1920s.

It’s also begging for a secondary blade delete.

It's been in awhile since I bought a GEC. Tried to stay away actually to patch up the burning hole in my pocket but the Angus Jack lured me back in. It's a great one guys!

Looks like there isn't, or it's a very small amount.

Wow I like the color. Now I have a tough decision between the green micarta or this. When I thought it was red I was easily going to choose the micarta.

Man these 86s are some of the finest GECs they have put out in a while, and that is saying a lot. I’m definitely going to go for the orange bone at this point and am eagerly awaiting my angus jack after seeing the photos in this thread.
