These are top notch fit and finish. The best ever? I never say that with any knife since that’s such a tall order and you never know what could come next. Custom level. Uhh, that’s a bit much to say. In its class, these are EPIC though!

^^ I'm not a huge fan of banner etches on blades. Being as this one is 440C, I am very tempted to give this one a hand rubbed satin finish. Anybody interested in seeing that?
I'd be interested. I don't usually go for the high polished look on the blade either, but I do prefer the polished bolsters over the satin ones like the green micarta 86AB has.

this is where I am at with 320 grit, I may take it to a higher grit or just love this knife as is, I kind of like the current look. Funny thing with steel, you can always re surface it...

Looking good! I’ve done up to 400 on knives before and it hasn’t been too much for my tastes.
 
This very knife (dimpled tang and all) is packaged up in a USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box and will be shipped out tomorrow.

EDIT to say - It shipped out yesterday and is wending it's way through the USPS system.
EDIT again to say - It was delivered to the new owner Saturday 30 October.
