The first knife I bought was SAK, about 20 years ago. The second was a GEC 15 single spear ebony, which I bought about 6 months ago.

My first was a classic Camillus Scout. First I bought was a Schrade 8 OT. Still have both, over 20 years each.

It was interesting to read about everyone's first knife purchases. I know what my first knife was, but it was a gift from my parents about 1960. I don't think I bought a knife myself until about a year ago when I got a Chinese Buck Solo and Trio in a 2-for-1 package at Mr. Sam's store.
