GEC #92 Talon GiveAway + 2 Handmade BluntCut Fixed Blades

I'm in--my first traditional was a SAK, over twenty years ago--a gift from my then girlfriend/ now wife. The first one I bought for myself was more recent--a GEC #42 trader with Copperhead Jigged bone... which led to many more. My edc is a #42 trapper... together with a modern or a fixed (depending where I am). That Talon is a beauty and I have long wanted to handle one.

Good Luck to all who enter!

Count me in! Thanks for passing the winnings along, if I win the fixed blades I will pass one of them along.

My first traditional was a "no name available" trapper built in the ~80s, found while demo'ing a deck after hurricane Sandy. The first one I purchased was a GEC 71 in 01.

The first I remember buying myself was a victorinox huntsman.
Needed a knife for scouts, and it was the brand Macgyver carried...
The first knife I got was from my dad, a 2 blade colonial.
still have both knives...
I'm in, thanks!

I'm in on this GA. Thanks in advance. My first slip joint I bought was a Case toothpick. It had aqua blue colored bone and SS. Very sharp!

Count me in. First knife ever was an Ulster Boy Scout Knife. Thanks for your generosity.

I'm in.

I had several knives before it, but my first traditional I bought for myself was a simple Case medium stock-man in what I think they called chestnut bone with the pen instead of spey for the third blade. Still gets really regular carry 10 or 12 years down the road now. Matter of fact I had to go grab it out of my jeans pocket to look it over. It's been a good and well used companion along the way.

I can't remember the last time I got a giveaway knife so I think I'm in the clear there, but I haven't been active in the forums lately so if you want to bump me out of contention for folks that are more active I have no problem with it. Very nice giveaway, I hope whoever gets them really enjoys them

I'm in! thank you for the opportunity!

My first traditional knife was a GEC #85 I bought from someone here on BF. It just spoke to me, and I had to have it. I ended up removing the pen blade on it, and I like it even more now.

Happy New Year
I am in, my first knife was SAK as a kid and then bought a victorinox myself so my parents would not know I lost the one they gave me

I'm in! thanks for this! My first traditional knife purchase was when I was about 13 and was a Victorinox--I think it was a Tinker, but if not, something very similar. :)

I'm in. The first knife I can remember buying for myself was what they used to call a "Saturday Night Special". I have no Idea who made it, I was a kid and just thought it looked cool. Today we would call it a toothpick.

I'm in!! I'm new to the forum and to traditional knives. Bought my first one today off the exchange.. GEC North field 23 Bull Lock.

I am in! Love that green on the Talon. Have long wanted to try a sway back pattern. My first was a Case Mini Trapper in yellow Delrin.

I would like a chance to win one of those Bluntcut knives if allowed.

My first traditional which I bought for myself was the good old Buck 110 back in the very late 1960's or very early 70's when I was a high school teen and had earned enough money at my first job pumping gas at my uncle's gas station on weekends. I was just getting serious about deer hunting and back then that was THE knife to carry. That 440C was a bear to sharpen with my limited skills at the time. I wish I still had it but ended up selling it cheap about 10 years or so later to a friend. I still have several Buck 110's today that I wouldn't part with including one with a bg42 blade when they use to swap them out.

Thank you for the giveaway and the opportunity.

I'm in. Thanks for your generosity. The first traditional knife I got was a Case 2 blade in yellow that was a gift from my Dad nearly half a century ago. The knife was one of the few things to make it thru a house fire (along with a Kutmaster that belonged to my Grandfather). I look forward to passing them along to my Son ( but hopefully not for a few years yet).

I'm in, thank you so much for the chance and very generous gifting to this community ALLHSS. My first knife was a Schrade 34OT which I found a couple years ago stashed away which was very nice but not nice on my wallet because it sparked my renewed interest in traditional knives.

I'm probably not regular enough to be in, but I'll enter if you'll have me.
Either way my first was a Barlow from the dollar store in my grandma's home town, wish I could find that knife.
