GEC Beagles

Ditto on the oil sucker rod wood. That beagle will be barking in my pocket early next week.

Another Oil Sucker Rod Wood on the way. Who was it at GEC who had the great idea to re use this wood for a knife? That person should get a raise. The hound's tooth shield also looks perfect with the grain of the wood.

Oh my, have you been over to the "What's In Production" page and looked at the Cocobolo Beagle with the long pull and the sweet Northfield badge. Sweeet!!

Oil sucker rod, this one is about as perfect as you can get from GEC.

My sucker rod wood Beagle came in today, and it is really unique. The size is perfect...very pocketable. Seems bigger than the Coyote. The wood has a very aged look, and though it doesn't come off on your hand, if you take a whiff, you can tell the oil in the wood is definitely there (and probably has been for over 100 years). The wood appears to have black flecks throughout the grain...very different (in a good way). Walk and talk are excellent, and the secondary blade looks to be much more usable than I thought it would be. Knife could have come a tad sharper is my only negative.

Yinz are killing me!! Waiting for my OSW to arrive!!! John:D

Just noticed the yellow camel bones just went up on Derrick's site. Probably won't be there long (if you're interested).

I don't even have my runaway yet, but I am being sorely tempted with a few of these other beagles. they look very nice!

Just got in my oil sucker rod... Fit and finish is on par with other gec products. Very pleased with the knife! Beautiful!

They're great little knives.

my oil sucker wood beagle arrived today, even came with a button! nice touch to a beautiful little knife. It's been in my pocket all day and seen some good use.

nice little knife, almost perfect. the spring for the secondary seems a little weak on my example. other than that, it will be fighting the coyote to stay in my watch pocket!

Awesome pics guys!

My two runaways will be home soon.

These will be my first acrylic handled knives. I just couldnt resist those trippy swirls!
