GEC IS MAKING TRAPPER KNIVES IN 2020.

If I were Bill Howard , I would of produced the two blade and the GEC#23LL the same way. (different scale choices) Then on the last week on production of the Northfield liner lock knives, I would announce "Bull-lock #23 Trappers". A good number of two blades and #23LL knives would of been sold by then. And I would make the #23 Bull-locks in different woods and bone colors. A Sambar Stag #23 bull-lock would be nice too. Don't count the Bull-lock #23s out yet. A #23LL Northwoods run might be in the near future too. You just never know with Bill Howard.

Can anyone tell me what Exotic India Bone consists of?? It is in the last part of the #23 production schedule on GEC's site!

I love the idea of a Northfield #23 Trapper brown jigged bone knife. The JSR Sports & More #86 SFO Chocolate Almond peach-seed jigged bone was the best GEC Brown bone color knife , ever. It is a soft almond color bone with dark brown peach-seed jigged high-lights. I have two and darkest Chocolate Almond #86 is my new user/EDC knife. When that Chocolate Almond bone catches on to the collectors , we will see more GEC knives in that color. I am burnt out on yellow edged /brown knives. I am optimistic about this brown jigged bone color.

I'd love to see pictures of this Chocolate Almond Bone, and the Exotic India Bone!!

Hey Mr. Charlie ,Exotic India Bone looks like natural colored bovine cattle bone with long claw-like jigging filled with black dye smeared to the heal. I think that it will be the best two blade color bone #23 on this run. I got my pre-order in.

It isn't hard to share pics, Onearmbladenut, but maybe you need to upgrade your membership? With a higher level membership you can download them directly from your documents! Don't need any hosts or buckets!!:D

Charlie I think the only pic of the india bone is a mock up that is on one of the other 23 threads - lets talk gec. Ill have a look.

I have just started using imgur, which is recommended by the mods. Its quite straight forward and you can paste a link specifically for forums (BB boards)

The bone has a resemblance to the Schatt Morgan File @ Wire 2007 series Morning Ash

Thanks for the picture, Magizm7 Magizm7 !!
I did update my Blade Forums membership. (I still can't post photos and I passed on loading any more software on my computer at this time.) I am trying to save money from the #23 Trappers coming up. On the "2019 GEC Oil Field Jack #86 and Forum Knife Picture Thread" pages 35,36,39,41,43,45,47,48,50,53,56,60 -- JSR SFO #86 Oil Field Jack Chocolate Almond peach-seed bone/propeller shield. (soft almond jigged bone-white edges-dark chocolate highlights in the jigging)
