Very nice, Charlie!

I think the Northfield jigged bone is going to be a good looking knife, too, at least based on this pic from the What’s Happening section of GEC’s site.

In the meantime, I got a second Tidioute #41 in Smooth Oiled Bone. Pairs nicely with the ebony.
wouldn't mind a Northfield they look dark with the evil doctor vibe that Frankenstein would appreciate.
You know when I was a young boy I thought it would be a great job to be a photographer for Playboy. Life is strange. Here I am old, still immature and taking pictures of the butt end of a knife and enjoying it. Fine pair of bevels….
I was a weird one I wanted to photograph wild life,in the bush not downtown.

The Mail is a wonderful thing!! It can bring such nice objects into your life!!
I have a Northfield coming also!!

Very nice, Charlie! But I think someone was drunk when they set the numbers for the pattern number tang stamp! 🤣 (Mine are crooked like that, too.)

I’ve also noticed that they seem to have changed the font on their pattern number stamps recently. I can’t say I’m a fan — I don’t like change in general 😁 — but I suppose in the grand scheme of things it’s not really a big deal.

Beautiful pieces everyone. Are the tips of the lambsfoot proud on these or is it just a few examples?

On three examples, I’ve had one where neither blade tip was proud, one where the Lambsfoot blade was proud, and one where both blades were proud. 😵‍💫 (Both knives with one or more proud tip were ebony, so perhaps they’ll have worked it out as the run progresses.)
