It's interesting to me that the Northfields are synthetic materials, and the Tidioutes are natural ebony and bone, which I tend to think of as fancier.

It works to my advantage, though.

Just for comparison sake, a picture with my only other GEC Lambsfoot blade.
I can tell this one will be more comfortable to use, since the closed blade sits lower in the frame.

Was happy to have landed this one from a good dealer. This blade combo is a nice alternative to my newly acquired wharncliffe case mini trapper. Both in the 3.5" range is perfect. This just might be the knife to get me on board with spear points. Nice and pointy! Pictures with my dogs medicine, although I certainly won't be crushing this pill up lol
