Enjoy it in good health, Gary!!!

My Rendezvous booty is finally making its way to Canada, and onto my scratchy scanner!!
The meetup was like old home week, seeing all those wonderful people, but it was an opportunity to purchase a few desirable knives also!! Here are four interesting ones:
From the top;
>Empire Winsted, ca WWI!! A teardrop Easy Open Jack - near full, and note is has no pull on the main blade, like an early EO!!!
>Next a #93 Cocobola Ramsfoot; turns out it's a 'prototype' from GEC!!
>third is a Buffalo Cutlery Spey Jack, that Augie Augie traded to me!! Beauty!! Older arched stamp!!
>Last, one of Bill's many Special Assemblies - A Red Stag Ben Hogan!!!
There were several great SAs - couldn't get them all, but I sure wanted them!!
Score of four 1.jpg Score of four 3.jpg Score of four 2.jpg Score of four 4.jpg

You definitely won the stag lottery 😉.

There were a few nice ones there, David - it was a tough choice!!

Here's an interesting GEC I purchased from a vendor in front of the cutlery bldg!!
Number 50 of 50, from 2008, in Babinga!! Babinga is named after the local Pygmy People in the Belgian Congo, where this wood is found!!😲
#235108 it has a very firm spring, typical of Bill's early knives!! I love it!!!
Randy gave me his staff button at the end of the event - I'm just a fan-boy!! 🤣

Nice gift from Jamie Rank!! Teardrop (an old pattern!!) with a Lambfoot blade!!
Great walk and talk - I like the copper bolsters with the reddish stag!!
Nice fit and finish!!
Thanks, Jamie!!!

Nice haul Charlie - that 2008 23 GEC is a score to say the least - Wow, and……. Of course the others such as that Empire ebony beauty and that Buffalo you managed to wrangle from Augie 😮

Gifts from mrknife mrknife ; Some months ago, Jack gifted me the Jack Wolf "Little Bro", and then mailed me the "Big Bro" during the Rendezvous, which he couldn't attend!!!
So I consider the "Big Bro" a Rendezvous gift!! Also met Ben Belkin, the producer, at the show!!
Interesting knives!! Traditional formats in modern materials!! Useful hollow-ground blades -very interesting, and certainly useful ---- Thanks, Jack!!!Jack Lam pres 1.jpg

Charlie, that Ben Hogan stag is making me feel kinda weak in the knees. Might need to go take a walk!

I like the way the reddish brown stag compliments the copper bolsters. I have never seen a Lambsfoot on a teardrop pattern. It works well. I’ll have to head over to JSR and see if there are any more.
