Received a message from Mike over at Collectorsknives.net that the next round of orange and black bullnoses with the new farm and field name will be arriving soon. When I went on to pay for the early bird I saw that they have a new handle material version as well, white acrylic that glows in the dark green! Here is the link to his page http://www.collectorknives.net/greateastern.html I bought a couple of those as well. Pretty cool!

Apparently this is somewhat old news, I'm a little out of the loop the last few weeks:D Found some info over in the old Bullnose thread.

I ordered two of the glow in the dark Bullnoses...glo-noses. I already had one of the "Rednecks" (yee haw! :p) on the way... I'm not sure I need three GEC sodbusters... but they'll be fun gifts if I decide that I don't need one for each hand... and a backup.

This topic needs photos...

Working outdoors this would be a great knife. If you ever drop it and cant find it, just wait till the sun goes down ;)

Just jumped over to Collector Knives and bought a black covered Field & Tool and a GEC Northfield #66 Calf Roper with blood red bone covers.

Skipped the "glow in the dark" knife. Figure if I'm using it in the dark, I'll be able to see it just fine but might just slice a finger as my fingers don't glow in the dark. I'm too dang old to be tempting fate like that.

The glow in the dark is sort of a novelty but the white handles look good on that knife. They could pretty much put any color on the knife and I'll add it to the collection:D I'm sort of a sucker for this model.

I joked with Ed about the glow in the dark in the Bullnose thread, but I do think its a great idea.

It looks like a classy shade during the day and if you ever leave it behind out working around the house you may have better luck finding it. I like the idea.

Im not buying one, but I like it. :)

I like the white one.

If anyone ever happens to see my knife glowing, I'll just tell them it means orcs are near.:D

hah! Nice. :D

I like this idea. Glad to see a company get funky in a utilitarian way. This may have finally sold me on the pattern.

I think I'm going to have to get one of these. Even though I've barely touched my Red Neck. I always wanted a moonglow Spyderco Manix 2, but since I no longer really carry modern knives as my primary EDC, I could never justify the purchase. Ever since August I've been carrying a Case Sodbuster Jr or 31048CV. I like the red/orange, I like the yellow, but I'm a sucker for things that glow under UV light.

I could care less about the glow in the dark, other than Orc detection, but I like the way it looks while it's light out. The white scale might finally make be buy one of these.
