The glow-nose has been spotted!

No, not there....

It's at the end of the hall. According to one dealer, they are estimated to ship 9/25.

It was released today. They darkened the artwork for the "nifebrite" version. I think the guy with the red hat is pointing out where he dropped his knife.... "I think I left my knife in the field... yep, I can see it over there!" ;)

i got a pretty good chuckle out of that :D

I wonder if they have specs on the glow. Some of that stuff glows for 24 hours. That would be very helpful in making a decision. If I knew how long the glow lasted, after a charging.

I received my F&F Bullnose (black) today and just love it. Feels great in the hand and fits nicely in my watch pocket. I believe I would enjoy one in all three colors, especially the GITD...that off white color looks awesome. Plus its got a textured look to it kind of like a satin finish paint...looks cool.

Wait, I thought the black F&F's were still in progress?

That thing looks awesome, its definitely going to a nice piece to have, just the white-ish barely-see-through scales look cool even without the glow.
I have a question: ive had a lot of case sodbusters; do you people prefer the rivet on the case or do you prefer the GEC one? It seems like dirt always gets trapped in the gec one and makes it look weird, or is it just me?

Mine shipped today. :)

These posts were in a different topic but I thought I'd bring them over here...

... I wonder if GEC will make a red glow in the dark sodbuster for Christmas... for the Rudolph fans. ;)

The trouble with red luminous material is that it glows pink
How bout a nice Christmas green instead :D

Red, green, yellow, and blue... -string 'em together by their lanyard holes and you'll have the best decorated house on the street this year!

Mine arrived today as well, along with my new F&F orange & black bullnoses. Fit and finish on all is great, as expected, but the Nifebrite handled ones are much thinner than the orange and black, very slimline and nice. I also noticed that all are using a different lanyard tube, a bit thicker and nicer looking in my opinion. One of the Nifebrites will get into the rotation with my first run black bullnose and my orange redneck. Love this knife!

Noticed that too, I'm 50-50. I like the thicker lanyard tube but also like the the thicker scales on the older versions.

Now all I want is a 440C version with the same liner lock as the #73L and I'll dissapear singing over the horizon:)

I'm interested by this glow material. Wonder if it loses its power after a while?

Really agree with you Sam on the 440C aspect. I want most of their knives in it frankly!

Thanks, Will

Nice to see these as regular production available widespread :)

The glow in the dark one looks very nice. I may like it better than my orange one, but Im still not getting one.

Looks like it has a nice full blade.

Going to add that the glow doesnt last very long. I've had it in my pocket for about 1 hour or so after being outside with it and its not really glowing in the dark anymore. So any hopes of the glow lasting a long time are dashed. I didn't really buy it for the glow so that doesnt bother me but a heads up fro those who do.

Nice photos, trevytrev. I noticed that my glow in the dark "Farm & Field" has a slightly smaller nail nick than my orange "Redneck". Also, the pull is a bit lighter. I hadn't tested the glow yet. How long did it charge in the light before you pocketed the knife?

This is my first knife with acrylic covers and I've noticed that the glow acrylic has slightly more grip than the orange delrin... which may come in handy but.... I think I like the feel of the delrin a little better. Maybe I'm just used to delrin but the acrylic feels lower quality to me. ...I may be biased though since I do prefer natural handle materials.

Cheap huh, thats a shame.

I didn't even think about acrylic vs delrin. Thanks for the info, Jake.

The only acrylic I have exposure to is my GF's pink 57. It actually spent a week in the beach bag in Miami, and while the bolsters looked like I had a seizure with 120 grit sandpaper against them, the acrylic was okay.

Food for thought,

Kevin

My black one arrived today.

The covers are narrower/slimmer/not as fat/flatter than the previous Bullnose Work Knives I have received. I didn't take a comparison picture (tired of taking all these dang pictures). Maybe it's just this one that I received and not a trend across the board. Maybe I'll have to order another to draw my own conclusion.
