GEC's French Kate Knife has been revealed

Much more of a niche appeal pattern than the canoe I've been longing to see from GEC.

The wait continues.

i have a couple of the rough rider versions. they're fun to use and show off since it's a not so common pattern, and who doesnt like girl's legs :D. i like the look on the RR better, but if it comes in ebony or ivory bone i might pick one up.

wozzdat? don't like it at all, worst design from gec ever! IMO of course
take the shoe off, then it's "ok", I hope they're not making many of it, they won't sell well IMO, at least not many to non collectors

Of course, Case sells an awful lot of knives whose pics do not show up on this sub-forum. There might be an outside chance that GEC is trying to expand it's customer base. I know, I know. Just saying.

No thanks. I had thought about getting a Ben Hogan/French Kate set with matching handles, but the French Kate is a design I hope to never own.

I don't understand. Caplifter secondary was selected for the forum knife by poll, now ya'll are knocking a caplifter? ;)

It will go well with the lamp in the front window.

Ok, now that the heel is down I am still going to pass, but the lace holes are a nice touch. Have not see them on a modern of this pattern. ;)

C'mon, guys! What's wrong with having a little fun?

Why so serious all the time?

It's not what I might have chosen, but I applaud them for their spirit.

Get rid of the jigged bone and use only smooth scales (ebony, ivory, bone, acrylic, etc.) and they might have something.

Use the blade they use in their Toothpick and make it a switch-blade and they'd really have something.

Maybe this knife would be perfect for wives, girlfriends, or women in general...

I can see some women really digging this knife.

But it had better be easy on the nails!!!:D

I was hoping it was going to be a smaller version of the Ben Hogan. Yeesh, that Kate is really ugly
