what an impulse buy..... made an offer on a BM Mini Bone Collector with walnut handles and it was accepted on the bay!!!! Really didn't expect that, $105 shipped... D2 steel

just saying one could be had for less then market.... never had wood on a folder, or folding wood for that matter, now if I only had a deck to set it on that would be a whole other story...

Congratulations man, good deal! I've got the large bone collector, it's a great knife. My only qualms are the annoying Spyderhole and the pocket clip is reversible.

So, I had a job at noon. The nurses were (...)s! The patient was begging for an embolism, the therapists were decks, and I was there for 6 hours.

On the way home the agency called and asked if I could cover for 2 hours at Children's. I said no problem. At almost the end of that 2 hours, I was informed I was here till 0600. However the staff here is a) fricking adorable, b) the patient is the daughter of a good friend so I don't mind at all. I was going to offer to come up anyway so she could go home, c) the staff is SO sweet! They are completely doting over ME and I'm just a nobody.

I signed the whole TCU nursing staff up for the special recognition award.

Came home from work to this tonight:

Bleu cheese and herb stuffed potato, seared rare sirloin topped with a red wine and shallot reduction, and some kind of weird plant things that didn't taste like either a meat or a potato. And she did the laundry! Guess she's a keeper.

My boss finally lets me bring in some "home" projects to work on for a little while each night. Kind of like a perk or bonus.

Of course, most of my nights are wicked busy, so, who the hell has the time, but, it beats sitting on my warrior all night.

On another note, some of ya'll may know that last year my oldest daughter was classified as "legally blind" with 20/200, 20/300 vision.

I am happy to announce that after the judicious application of 2 grand, she is now seeing 20/15 in stereo,high definition.

Wo0t!!!!!!!

Damn, kids are expensive........

Naw, not so invasive. Ortho K lenses. She wears them at night, it reshapes her eye. Its a 10 year program, but it beats zappin' her orbs with gamma rays.

Yeah, I'm watchin' Avengers as my bed time movie.

I so wanna be the Hulk. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the other Avengers, but, damn, its the Hulk.
