If it makes you guys feel any better, I'm 5'9" at most ..lol and I got up to 212 at the heaviest.
When I went to the gather I was 200ish. Now I am down around 170, and I feel MUCH better to be fair 170ish and wearing more muscle than I was too.
Went from 36 inch waist being tight, to 30 inch waist being loose.
Pullups, pushups, and walking ALOT, combined with fixing my unhealthy relationship with food, for the win.
 
My problem is snacking around all the damn time. Plus, I'm around candy at work all day long, and can eat as much as I like.
 
Im a buck 50 soaking wet at 5 foot 9..... Id like to get to 165.... You guys can throw some of that weight this way :)
 
I weighed 155 lbs in high school, and the same when I got married the first time. I'm 115lbs heavier now.

Gladly. I'm 5'7" and 200. Down from 225 last summer and shooting for 165-170. The weight I'm shooting for is considered obese on most charts, but I'm a stout Irishman with some Norse mixed in. 125-130 is not happening unless I get really sick.
 
Nate those charts are bullcrap ..lol it says 170 is borderline obese for me, Pretty sure a sub 30 inch belly isnt obese especially since Im only like 10 pct body fat now.

I joined the army at 20 years old.. I weighed 129lbs. I was only 4 lbs over being underweight, by then end of basic training I weighed 140. years later im still trying to hit 165. I eat a lot, and don't normally think about health when I eat. I do love fruits and vegetables and also forage for wilds to eat a good foraged meal a couple times a month but not for health reasons, I just like fruits and veggies. I was always active in the army but now im a lot more slowed down, I do walk a lot and run and jog with my kids a few times a week and still hit the bags and weights once or twice a week but im slipping... I use to be in the gym 5 days a week or on a mat fighting 3 times a week, now a days the only fighting im doing Is the idiots in my neighborhood. And the sad thing is if im not literally working on my weight I lose pounds without realizing it.

Im a scrawny Greek, 200-225 is not happening unless I got a Viking on my back lmao :)
 
Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that gets a gut, compared to some that seem to gain weight on their whole body. I'm not fat per se, but have a fat gut.
 
I will jump in here... I'm 5'11", I am currently 280. Most people guess I'm not as fat as I am. My heaviest was 330 and I am never going back there. It was right after I had to stop playing football cause of an injury. Now I just work a lot and my weight stays pretty much the same.
 
I weighed 175 when I was working out hardcore and eating like an elephant 6-8 meals a day, serious hardgainer seems like every pound I put on requires 100 lbs of chicken.
Down to 150 now which is pretty much what I always weigh. Plan on hitting the gym again after the move this summer. I just can't get into working out at home, too much crap/distractions to do. I hate being out of shape it's depressing.

The only way for me to work out at home nowadays is to have the kids try it. Either they like it and try to do it themselves (and they leave me be), or they don't like it and stay away so they don't have to do it (and leave me be :D). It's actually pretty fun when they join in, so long as they don't get in the way.

funny how you hear people say after 30 you'll start gaining if you don't watch it, they also say after 40 your eyes start going bad.....

man I wished I'd not been such a punk and listened to my elders... :) They're two for two...
