Haha, I hear that. I was cleaning up the man cave today, and I have 4 backpacks sitting on the floor. This ones for the wife though. She has a medium ALICE I bought her last year too.

here's a question for the hammock pros here -- I'm thinking about jerry rigging an underquilt for a hang this coming weekend - it's supposed to drop into the 30's. Think I could use binder clips to attach a sleeping bag under my hammock?

A woobie and a heavyweight space blanket. Warmer than a sleeping bag. Clips will work for you if you don't get wild in the hammock.

how are you attaching the woobie? threading shock cord through the side hems?

I am NOT a pro, as you well know. However, what I did was set up the hammock, open the sleeping bag inside it with the top part hanging off the side, crawled in, then pulled it over me. I was warm as all hell when I did that.

Know why I like feebay? Lots of dumb people who have no idea what they are selling or even take 2 minutes to put something in the title that might describe it properly and be searchable or have the listing end at a decent time. Not many people up at 3am knife shopping.
Take this BK-6 for example, 19.99 + extremely irritated glare from the wife for setting the alarm for 3:15. Girl has no sense of humor at all. "What time is it??..... WTF! I don't even want to know but if you say anything about a Machax I will shoot you."

Make this one the backup and use mine or beat this one and save mine? Decisions, decisions. Hmm, wonder if there ARE any new BK4's???

BK-6 for 19.99....now that's a deal!

I make a big loop of 550 that will go around the perimeter with enough to tie off to the main hammock line at either end. Fold the corners of the woobie over it (paper airplane style) and clip it to the 550. A couple of safety pins down the sides hold it to the line. Lay the space blanket in it and tie the ends of the 550 to the hammock lines.

Been looking for new, or new to me, tv shows to watch. I never cared much for TV in the past and while I was in the military I missed everything that aired, once I got out I never had cable and just watched movies. lately though I been tearing up TV shows and this new computer makes it way more enjoyable, the nice pretty HD screen helps too :)

so whats yalls favorite Tv show of all time? .....lmao so whats yalls.... sounds so redneck and my computer red lines the words as wrong lmao...

I loved fringe, sad I watched it all already.
don't care for walking dead much, or any other zombie/vampire/werewolf type shows or movies
Despite the reviews I liked revolution, especially the 2nd half of the 1st season
been watching Nikita and Alias back to back starting at episode 1 of each. both are good shows but Alias is quite better IMO, I hear the original le femme nikita might be better but haven't seen it.
And just started Person of interest, episode 1 and I think its going to be a great show too...

So what have you enjoyed watching in the last few years or so?

I tend to go for sci-fi TV shows, for whatever reason, even though it's not sci-fi that I gravitate towards for movies.

Warehouse 13 is ok, Eureka was good for a while..gets too relational...then ends up ok. Doctor Who (new BBC version) is most excellent, and Heroes was good, too. Also enjoy some Psych and occasionally Burn Notice.

I like warehouse 13, watched that a few months ago. Doctor who was also (ok) I didn't care for Hero much though but I love me some Psych.. finding all the pineapples (Google it) in every episode is a family challenge here. Burn notice didn't catch my attention after the first 3 episodes... and that's the test, if a show cant catch my attention in the first episode or 2 its a goner.. the pilot is usually one of the best in the series so if im not liking it I just keep browsing normally. Doctor who is a good example though of the first episode not doing the show any justice as the first episode of doctor who sucked to me but the 2nd one was pretty good.

mornin gents.

WW, you should check out revolution. I've only seen a couple episodes, i think it's a somewhat new one, but its pretty entertaining.

I never really get into tv shows, i just find most of them overly dramatic/cheesy/blah. I did like the 2-3 episodes of revolution i saw though.

Yeah, it sucks that shows that start out with a great story tend to degrade into high schoolish romance drama. Mythbusters is a good one to avoid that junk!

I agree, the seconds Doctor in the new series was great. Had David Tennant had Matt Smiths story line, the show would be far better...but I guess the ladies prefer Smith.

Rescue Me was a pretty good show. I like a lot of old shows too. The Rebel was pretty good. As for newer shows, Sons of Anarchy and Vikings are good.

Yea despite the reviews I enjoyed the first season of revolution, the 2nd half of the season was a lot better than the first IMO.

I normally watch a full season In about 2 or 3 days. so I run out of new shows easily.

Oh damn, I forgot to mention Falling Skies. Sounds a little more up your alley, it's a sci-fi show.
