Snark is dead !!!!

Id try to cut all the foam down to say 1" around the box, maybe a hot knife?? massive storage..

if it was uncooperative I'd rip it all out and grab one of those pads from wm for $5 and be done with it..

Yeah, that's pretty much my plan. As long as I have some padding I'm happy. The majority of it will be taken out and maybe reused.

Dresnor, I'll get you an NSN and box contents when I step outside.

Here you go Dres.

we got crushed by a friggin monsoon last night. temp dropped 20 or so degrees overnight, ugh....

on a brighter note, gas station coffee is actually pretty good. I got myself a big to-go cup of "bean street" coffee company for just over a buck. not too shabby

Had a hacksaw mishap on Thursday, cut down to the bone on the side of my left index finger. Four stitches and a damaged ego resulted. Would have preferred the "pour Vodka on it and wrap it with duct tape method", but it was way too deep and wide.

Very much so. I checked it out on the range before making a payment on it. I put a box of 50 through it and only had 5 or so pull out of the 9 ring. The trigger is so much shorter and lighter than the LC-9. They have different purposes though. The LC-9 is horrible at the range but very very nice as a concealed carry piece.

Now you need to pick up the Apex trigger for it. Makes it Sooooooooo close to a 1911 trigger. Very nice. I'll have my 40 with me at the gathering and you can check out the trigger in person.

Thanks Murph, you are the man.

Is the phone number in the 2nd picture the place you got your at? Miles Warehouse?

Do they ship?

Jeremy

I am but a humble admirer of surplus sir, you're welcome. As for the place I got it, no that is where he gets them from. I can pm you his number if you'd like or you can call that one.

Ship is crooked again!

BTW, since I had to take three international flights through three countries, I packed so as to check NO luggage. Hence no knife. I bought a $20 440 rigging folder at West Marine in Bordrum, Turkey before departure. Serviceable, but uninspiring. I'll have better gear when I meet the ship again in Galveston, incl. the Phat Bob I purchased for the purpose.

I've come to the conclusion that knifeworking is best done in an actual shop and not in a makeshift shop on a dorm room kitchen table lol. but I'm makin decent progress on a knife for my buddies dad.

Wife and I took the slingshots to a local creek to shoot a bit. We had a lot of fun. Just took the one photo here:

Really like this rain coat/pack cover. Put it on your pack, and when it starts raining, reach back and grab the coat out of it. Then, I saw that it was $200. Then, I didn't like it so much, haha. Cool concept though:

Mmmm. Those wings look good. We did our usual backyard fire cooking hot dogs tonight. Not as tasty as those wings look though.

Does any one know if you can use the TKC scales for a BK12? I know you couldn't use the weights but would it fit otherwise?

Wait. Is it me or does it look like you have the choice of you getting wet or your stuff getting wet? Or is the pack still covered?
