So my iz2 suffered a busted nose. I've been workin on it with the files, dropped the point a little bit. Not finished, heres a WIP pic though :D

Almost more of a sheepsfoot at the moment really. Should i leave it as is and sharpen her back up? Its growin on me....




 
I'd bring the spine hump down a bit, straighten it out.

I had my BK-24 with me and used it to cut my seatbelt so I could crawl out of the passenger's door. I'm just glad I didn't have any head injuries or worse. Guess I'm just pissed that my spring dirt time is cancelled.

The wife and I went shooting the slingshots again today. I sure did improve my shooting with just a few hours of practice.
 
straightened out the tip, pretty much a clip now!

I think i've reached the end of my filing skills heh im pleased with it. Perhaps ill take it out to the bench again tomorrow.

I liked it the way it was, more of a bushcraft kephart style to it... but you can't add more steel can you?? :D

warrior what are you using for ammo??
 
haahaa, if it were me I'd round off the spine a little to make it more a drop point instead of a clip... just me though and wouldn't take many strokes, nothing extreme just enough to give it flow... :p
 
What exactly happened to the tip brfor you started working on it? If it broke why not just send it in to ESEE?

dang it. I know....i agree. I may need to just leave it for a few days and think on it or i'll run out of steel before the nights up! :D

tip snapped off.

I didnt want to send it back. It's not just any old izula, its my izula! the day she's broken in half is the day she goes back :D

We were just using rocks. I would have been way more accurate with bearings. It's funny to see how some of the odd shaped rocks fly, haha. We were shooting beer cans off a picnic table from about 25-30 feet. The wind was blowing so hard off the lake, we had to fill the cans with water to keep them from blowing off.

bought a Mongolian style bow. woot.

hopefully she's going to be lovely to shoot.
